Finally got it in Washington a week ago. Only one casino so far but many close behind. Starting to see a bunch of commercials on tv for sports betting apps. I'm wondering if I can now revive my old Pinnacle sports acct.

Florida has signed a compact with the Seminoles to allow sports betting as of October 15th.
What this means:
1. Any Seminole land based casino will definitely have sports wagering as of October 15th
2. Mobile wagering throughout the state is in the compact (no matter where you are in FL), but this is widely accepted as being against federal law and extremely likely to be overturned in one of two pending court cases. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT #1.
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY IN FL:
There is a ballot initiative to vote in November of 2022 to make it not only the Seminoles who have a monopoly on sports betting, but this will allow sports wagering from ALL players like MGM, Caesars etc.

Hold Your Horses......The New York Experience has been that once sports betting is approved but the State doesn't actually book(eg OTB) and later Mobile Betting approved then you at the mercy of the legal bookies to create a platform. There are 2 bookies in existing casinos (Draftkings and Ceaesers) that have had at least 8months to create a platform but aren't even close.

Sports betting started in AZ this season and so far so good, there are many companies in the space like DK and Caesars and BetMGM and Maxxim so the supply is here and I am quite happy with the options and quality. A few also have in person options but I am not ever going to do that personally.

Hey man, I've seen you here for a very long time (I may be rookie but check my year) and just wanted to say much respect. Thanks for this, I just moved here and am going to sign it. Question for anyone else in this forum, what's the best book for bonus/rollover/payouts.. Looking to tip my toe in a little and don't mind a little rollover. I'm already in sbet.ag (shortened the name, not trying to push anything) but looking to get in one with a good bonus today. Bovada looks like the best sign up bonus with no hold... just curious if anyone has an opinion.. THanks and Good Luck today and everyday.

In person sports wagering starts October 15th 2021.
Mobile wagering has several lawsuits already filed and has no chance of staying on the books. There will be no mobile wagering in FL until the voters pass an ammendment, like the one mentioned in the first post. Earliest date would be Nov of 22.

25 miles from Tampa Hard Rock, shades of living in Vegas, way back when. Can't friggin wait!!! Just being in that atmosphere, having drinks, watching the games there, lines posted on big boards, cashing my ticket 30 seconds after the end of the game, you guys can have your mobile betting. A little more convenient, perhaps, but not nearly as fun!

@ROCKON
Craps and roulette, sports betting Oct. 15. Tampa Hard Rock. Miami too. At sum point sports betting at a few of the horse tracks/former dog tracks too, not exactly sure when, but probably pretty soon.

Guys.... Dont forget the point of this thread.
THERE WILL BE NO MOBILE WAGERING, AND ZERO COMPETITION TO HARD ROCK UNLESS AN AMMENDMENT IS PASSED IN NOV OF 2022.
Sign the petition in the link in the first post to get it on the ballot.
Having sports gambling at hard rock alone is not the answer. The answer is having every sports book in FL offering a competitive marketplace.

“Sports betting is already popular. Sports betting has been legal in Florida for many years. And, again, we're just creating a legal pathway for them to do so, as opposed to what's currently happening, where everyone just looks the other way,” Brandes explained https://technoburst.com/best-motherboards-for-ryzen-9-5900x/.

I still have active bets ongoing, not sure how much longer, disappointing but at some point in time there will be brick and mortar betting at the casinos and outlets such as Tampa Bay Downs, the old dog track in Tampa, few other comparable places statewide. See what happens-

I live really close to EQC casino. They said the book would be fully operational by October 15. Now they are saying they don't know when it will be. They are just going to be dealing BetMGM lines. I don't know what is taking so long.
