Stay away from the Fajitas......Shit goes out just like it went in.....The oil fucking lubricates that shit and nothing sticks....

Fat Tuesday's is the best of all though  IMO.. Its open and is right on the beach...

I do stack those dollars trust me.  I don't think there is anything wrong with mexico.  I was just there in march

Stayed at Moon Palace once. Was little south of Cancun. Pretty secluded. Water wasn't clear because of a reef but the pool was outstanding. Know anything about that place Search??

All rooms had hot tubs and they kept the fridge stocked with Dos Equis.

Hell of a good time Jonner. Been on beaches all over the world and Cancun has one of the most spectacular. amazing break offshore, incredible visibility, nice people. Straight up Cancun in town is party hard but much more peaceful in the summer heat.(always when I go to dive) Rice I'm guessing is a younger feller so he'll have his pickings.
 
Hotels charge out the ass for a drink so careful on that side. Dunno what kinda spender ya are so I'll retreat from that.
DEFINITELY hire a car and visit Tulum or Chitsnitzu...or both. stop at the ceviche stands and roadside local off the path spots in the low lying jungle...it's super fun to meet locals and learn about the culture as you're very well fed an watered.
The Fajita fright is silly....enjoy yourself. visit Playa Del Carmen, shop, eat, drink, bullshit with the locals and there's a Caliente near the ferry dock to drop some sports wagers. Grab the ferry over to Cozumel and have a look. It's a 25 minute ride and very peaceful on the top deck.

Do not look (eyeball) the vendors and do not respond to them even if they get mouthy. (they do)

The biggest mistake I made was only going for 4 days. Stayed about 3 miles from downtown, and took the bus up there a couple times. DO NOT DRIVE the major road there. We spent a lot of time at the hotel, 'cause it had girls there, along with 4 bars, and plenty of food. Whatever your budget is, you can go there and have a great time. Have fun, and lookin' forward to pictures.....

Cancun is one of my favorite vacation destination.  Plenty of things to do there.  Have fun!

I just got back from Playa Del Carmen yesterday.  spent 5 days there.  FUCKING AMAZING.  we had a blast.  enjoy

Cancun is a good time, but as another poster said I would definately go and visit Tulum, but dont expect it to be as wild as Cancun, not even close.
 
The beach there is spectacular right up by the Tulum ruins which are well worth a look as well and the whole town is much more traditional than Cancun - which could basically be any beach resort in any city of the world...

When you get to the beach in Tulum...you won't believe your eyes. Definitely go down and swim in the surf because your body temperature will be at about 200 degrees by the time you get there.

For Sure!!! I spent about 5 hours in the room, wondering what a hospital there was going to be like, 'cause I never had heat stroke like I had there. It's hard, but mix in some water with the beers.....

Don't forget the sunscreen on your ears and tops of your feet.  Made that mistake once and never will again.  Fucking ooooouch.  Have fun and drink some real beer like Modelos.  Not even the Mexicans will touch that Corona shit.
