If you had been in Canada...you would not have gone to jail. And in BC they would have confiscated your weed and told you to have a nice day.

I posted that I wanted to smoke pot, but didnt know how to get it - and the suggestions came in - and somehow I settled on asking the pizza guy.  I actually did this, and documented it here - and it turned in to a hilarious thread.  I noticed some of the people who posted in this thread were also in that thread, so I posted the line for a laugh.

Nothing personal - I actually was a little disturbed with your situation - and certainly hope things work out for you.  From what I know (which is nothing, just like 99% of people you will get advice from), all of this violence stuff is silly - its the boredom - and restrictions - and lack of choice that will get to you.  I would write a book, just start writing and dont stop.

Im ranting on, possibly not the best idea given its almost 5 a.m. here.  Keeps Lightning and Thundering  outside, I guess its a perfect metaphor for the situation, that Im about to embark in.

Best advice I can give is pass the time by playing cards or ping pong if they have ping pong where your at. Try to read as much as possible & sleep as much as possible. The food is terrible so breakfast is probably your best meal. Find the people that don't get up for breakfast & trade away your lunch tray for their breakfast tray. Trust me double serving of cheerios & fruit is better then baloney sandwiches & baked beans. I'm sure where your going will be open with pods or bunks & not locked cells unless you get a stripe in your jacket (jail record) then they put u in the shu. There are so many people in prison i don't think u have anything to worry about as far as getting raped. They do it for snickers bars nasty shit.
