The first time I went to prison I was 14 years old. Skinny little boy......very afraid. Buy the time I came out I had a beard......I was grown man. I went back to my hometown. I found my mother. I kissed her and she screamed. She didn't recognize me. I have been in three different prisons FreezyF. Three different countries. And you know what I learned? I learned prison is a bad place to be. Nine months is a long time. Some men would do anything to avoid Nine months in prison.
This is my advice to you: When you get there....figure it out who's who. Find the man nobody's protecting. A man without friends....and beat him until his eyes bleed. Let them think you are a little bit crazy, but respectful too. Respectful of the right man. You are a good looking boy. It won't be easy for you. I remember I was 14 when I first went. I tattooed "survive"on my hand the night before I went to prison. And I did. We do what we have to do to survive.
here is someone who enjoyed plenty of sex in jail...

That's one tough life you had to spend man... What did you do exactly that they sent you in jail at 14 years?

Sorry for the hesitation in posting, I've had a lot going on and haven't even placed a sports bet. Yeah I said that. So I haven't been on covers, since the night I got out. I felt obligated to post that I'm out of that place. And I also feel obligated to tell you all about my experience over the past 7 months.
Jail is a horrible place. It is emotionally draining. Negativity is all around you and you are stripped from everything in the world. I hit rock bottom in jail. Which was very difficult, but at the same time really made me understand the person that I was. I'm not trying to get all philosophical on you guys, but I really learned a lot from this experience. I now understand a lot of my problems, which I'm working on fixing. And I have a whole hell of a lot of these problems, so this is going to take along time. Recognition is the key though. At least it is the starting point.
I tore some ligaments in my knee the 8th day I was in there. It isn't the first time I've done this, but it nonetheless sucked. Because of that I was moved to a part of the jail called the "pods". They are rooms of two inmates with 32 rooms per pod. You also have a common day room. The pods are very interesting because there are some weird dudes housed in there. Everyone in there is on medication. You meet some very interesting people. People that have no business being in society, and the reason for them being in jail. So its a tough place. You never have to worry about the physicality of it. It is just so emotionally draining. I got out Tuesday night after doing 200 days.
It was quite the journey. I had a serious girlfriend for over 3.5 years, and she decided to check out on me 2 weeks before I got out. It is very hard. But hopefully I have just ended a tough chapter in my life, and put this all past me.

Jail is a screwed up place. Spent a little time there myself when I was younger. ( no record) It's a place that can either make you a better person, or destroy your life completely forever. I think it helped me a lot, and I've managed to keep out of trouble since.

Ok.... good 'general' post be we want nitty gritty details!
How did you fuck up your knee? Did you get into any fights? How's the food? How easy/hard is it to get drugs/cigs/booze/porn in there? What's the best and worst part about prison? You meet any people that you might keep in contact with?

Good luck on every day of the rest of your life, bro! Hang around positive people-sounds like you are heading in the right direction-find the reasons and learn from them. See progress as one small step forward but your attitude is the first big one.

Messed my knee up grabbing a rebound at rec. Never got into any fights, people there are all scared to fight, because no one wants to go to the hole. When I first got there, I was housed in what they call a ten man. Its a cell with ten beds, its 16 x 16, and you never leave the cell. Its the worst part of the jail. If I had to be there for more than ten days or so I did, I would probably be crazy right now. I did a great fight in which see older white guy call out this small black dude. Needless to say the little black dude whooped his ass. Then homeboy was slept basically for dead in the middle of the room on the floor. No one said shit, the deputies never came, it was something else. The food is horrible, absolutely horrible, nothing else to say about that. People try to make their own spud juice, never works out cause we dont have enough access to sugar. You couldn't smoke cigs, they were hard to get, 5 bucks a shitty little rollup. Obviously no porn. I met some cool cool people, but few and far between. At this moment have no desire to call them.
