You're the 8,457th guy to start the "Parlays are bad" thread like he's dropping knowledge..You should be f u c k i n g  embarrassed.

Eveyone knows parlays are bad.

And everyone also knows it can be entertaining to drop a few bucks on a long shot parlay.

I've never met a single gambler that bets serious money on parlays. Probably why I never thought to start a dumb behind thread like this one.

In some countries, sports gambling is a source of revenue for government.  In Canada, only parlays are allowed so as to ensure many losers (cash cows).  But recently, there is a political movement to allow single bets.  Perhaps, competition from overseas sportbookies are forcing governmenst to adjust?

The juice Canada charges makes it tough to win even if you did not have to parlay. If they had the same juice on straight bets, it would be -135 and not -110 on a side

let me tell you something about parlays. A large bookie here at my place lets people play 16 team parlays. The more - the better for the bookie, right?

alot of guys play those 16 teamers. The bookie has a sharp statistics and they are DOWN if you just take those 16 team parlays....and they are down3 years in a row on those tickets.

Someone, somewhere is hitting that 16 teamer and cashing it in big time. Oh, and you are cursing those other 99,9% of the guys, but try to curse the one that has actually hit that 16teamer and cashed 1:30.000 chance

If you cant hit parlays you aint gonna win long term anyway, so you might as well have some fun.
