I read somewhere that kids are more sensitive frequently to sensing and witnessing paranormal activity than adults.....

I believe that I saw one once while staying at a friend's older house right across the street from a cemetary. Looked like a cloudy person that literally came through the wall into my room, stood there for a moment or two, then moved out of the room I was staying in, but left through the door this time.

I told my best friend what I thought I saw and hadn't met his GF yet. He told her, and it turned out that she'd seen the same thing and told him, before I had even met her.......

If you are sure the house was built on Indian burial grounds, that would definitely be cause for some alarm.  Like a previous poster said, I would thoroughly research the history of your house, as this may offer a clue to your kid's troubles.  Something is triggering your daughter's fear, and a pet of some sort in the room would be a great idea.  Not only would it soothe her, but it may alarm you to some disturbance in her room.

Your kid could just be having a bad dream, but if this situation recurs, I think there is definitely something to your daughter's fears.  I would tell her that you will be there for her if she hears or sees anything again, but I would not push the issue any further.   Kids are our most precious resource, and she needs your help to get through this incident.

I'd discreetly put a baby monitor in her room so you can listen at night.  Maybe it'll make you feel better and just check her on more often so she'll feel safe.

Dud,e shes 4 years old...have you ever explained what a dream is?  She probably has no clue.  Tell her she had a dream and that it is normal.  Not to be afraid of dreams.  End of story.

Yeah kids do because spirits can only come to people who accept them/ believe in them and kids are not at the stage to not believe in ghosts or spirits. It most likely is an old spirit that used to live there (not necessarily the same house) but either way nothing to worry about either because it won't hurt her so just tell her it was a bad dream

Hide in the closet after you put her to bed...when the crazy old orange-haired bitch shows up,jump out swingin...if that assrag starts to get too crazy,get your family out of the house safely then proceed to burn that fucker down...spirits dont like fire...

Before she goes to bed, take her around the house, show her the windows and doors are locked, or have her lock them, you lock them infront of her. Let her know she's safe and that no one can get into your house.

That sounds reasonable.  There must be some physiological difference between people who believe in spirits and those who don't!  I'd would guess that it has something to do with the # of working brain cells.
