Why do people wear Yankees hats?

just seen Michael Oher(blind side,Baltimore Ravens) wearing a Yankee's hat at an autograph signing in the mall the other day(40bucks for an auto? I don't think so) We don't like our players to wear the enemy's hat in Baltimore. Get a clue homey

I wear mine because I've been a Yanks fan since I was 11 (1978). Granted it can be tough sometimes due to the aforementioned posts, but what can you do but live your life the way you choose.

As I've gotten older I no longer wear team jerseys, but every now and then I'll break out my Bernie jersey.

I agree that posers are very annoying and I do get that twinge when I see someone wearing a Yankee hat who is clearly more fashionable than a fan. But like I said, that's their life and its none of my business.

It says you're a frontrunner. Never forget LeBron James attending an Indians game with his damn Yankee cap on. 

Last year, Indians in the playoffs, and the Yankees are not, there's LeBron at the Indians game.......................with his Indians cap on.

Yeah, it's more fashion than fan. The Yankee logo is iconic and one of the most identifiable in sports and people respond to it.

Couple years ago The New York Post had a pix of Tom Brady walking in NYC with his wife sporting a Yanks hat.He was,not her.
