Harness Racing Ontario - Mohawk specialty + other B tracks occasionally

Race 1 - throw a dart! ALL....none of them leave and who knows what tactics results in

Race 2 - 5678 ....feel like only keying #8 as a hunch after using training hopples

Race 3 - 29 ....yes #10 can go to the front but McClure isn't great with front end vs good closers...I find he panics and goes TOO FAST which its not his usual style to go to the lead  ....if #3 or #6 would have an equipment change...would take them

Race 4 - 14 ....#4 is a personal fave and has won me over $10K last year putting it in races for Pick5's and a couple of keys sometimes!........don't like #7 ...prefer #1 as it can win on fast fractions...#7 has proven it cannot

Race 5 - 1410 ....feel like keying #10 ....horse has faced the TOUGHEST horses all year and now has an easy field

Race 4 

Pick5 cost me $96 for a 20 cent play....I plan on Betting $50 -100 flat on:

Race 4 - #7 depending on how well it looks in the post parade and not based on odds

Race 3 - Pick3  $4 > 3610 / 14 / 1 ,10  = $48

                       $2 > 3610 / 7 / 1, 10 = $12

                       $5 > 29 / 14 / 4 = $20

                       $2 > 29 / 14 / 6 = $8 

BOL....I am pressing because Friday night can pay great payouts

So far:

R1 - #1 PAID 10-1

R2 - #6 PAID 2-1

R3 - #2 PAID 1-2 ..... #9 was a close 2nd

The whole Pick5 payout comes down to this race in my opinion......right now it is paying $800-1000 for a $1 ticket if it goes favourite (#7 or #1 in race 4 ) and #10 wins in race 5

But if #4 wins here......this PICK5 will double or triple....and if #1 wins in Race #5 ....it could make it 50% higher than $800-1000

Race 4 - as suspected $7 was a piece of shit which is why I left it off as a false favourite

#1 won for fun...by 3-4 lengths!!!

I got #1 and #10 alive:

1 pays = $165 for 20 cent

10 pays = $145 .........almost what I thought it would be for $1 > $725 and $825

have back up Pick3's and Doubles onto 4 and 6 and going to bet #7 FLAT or in exactors if it looks good in the post parade

Saturday:

-very warm/ light winds > no advantage for any drive tactic

Race 1 - #5 is class of the field and will race better after getting one race in before 5 weeks off.....I like #6 and #7 as a maybe and #8 might shock as it is ready to win!! (look at closing times!)

Race 2 - 3 5 for sure and I think #5 can be a key....watched the race and its a monster!!...it kept coming down the lane and fastest horse after the wire.....beware #4 ....it was faster than Shadow in Red at Georgian Downs and Trevor Henry is dangerous on a horse that is close after his first drive

Race 3 - they cannot beat #6 dropping down again ....especially off of 4-5 days off which helps a course perform but most trainers cannot find a new race so quickly.....since this horse has a breaking history, try #5, #8 and #9 as a backup in Pick3's or just play them with #6 as well

Race 4 - damn, was hoping the program would not recognize #2 as a pick....race great in a higher class after being off for 5 weeks so now the horse drops down and yes I like #1 or #8 .....Henry's horse #7 might pop as a long shot one of these times...and #6 does not race fast when in a class ladder like this race...you have to add 2 seconds to Meadowlands times as its the fastest track!

-SETTLING on 128 > but might be tempted to go ALL

This race might be an ALL because I think some are real close to popping here...

Race 5 - #2 can win anytime they press the go button (just like Torrin Hanover which is theirs and it won last week easily when few bettors paid attention to him) ...#6 beat #2 when they raced in this class last time so Casmir Richie is a former Freeforall horse ...and with right trip could win too....if you are putting in these other two, you then have to put in #8 as its a good horse but has faced much tougher races in the past few 

-do not like #7 but time wise, it fits so if they want to let it win, they might

-#4 beware !! Good KEY dropping down after doing 25 and 26 second closer.... I find upsets are appearing in races 1-4 and if so, a fave usually finishes the PICK5 in those situations most of the time

-Christoforou has been real good this summer taking advantage of horses he gets who are dropping down so I am likely going to KEY #4

BUT I am settling on taking 246 < good driver change and 2nd fastest horse middle of the gate along with HP Napoleon ...got a feeling Christoforou is gonna go for top 6 position and then beat them down the lane maybe but I cannot count on that

40 cent >   5 / 2345 / 6 /ALL / 246 = $38.40

20 cent play >    678/ 2345 / 6 / ALL / 246 = $58

Just watched the race involving tonight's RACE 1 field and you have to add #6 tonight on your plays as it was blocked in the lane with lots of horse for McClure!!

Race 1 - #5 gutted it out first over and won 3 to 5

Race 2 - #2 just nipped my #4 who was flying and paying 16-1 .....#2 paid 14-1 so I have it on the 40 center

Race 3 - they screwed around and brought BUZZZ in by sending him way into the lead by 10 lengths and the 6 didn't move until the 3rd Q and it was way too late

It was a barn race for sure since BUZZ opened up at 4-1 early and all of a sudden it shaves 3 seconds off??

Wrong horse key....it happens

I played a 40 cent pick3 in Race 3 and got back $100 after key #4 on the last leg in Race 5....it cost me $12 so that was a good backup for a decent looking start to the Pick5

 No...I didn't because I have $25 to win, Place and Show.....that would pay the most. I don't expect MunnyRo to be less than 3-1 and likely will close at 4-1 or higher

I want the win with the $25 to win .....but think Munny has a chance to finish top 3 for sure....if not I am partial to Ernie Samuels Samson farms and my father did some business with him

I added #7 and #11 to my triactor so I am spending more .....also, I upped my win on MunnyRo based on a visual from a friend who is there...that I trust with seeing something in a horse. He has doubled his bet across so I am going now $40 win $30 Place  $30 Show and if the horse is out of the money, I still have a nice triactor chance

#6 > nice and calm....no sweat which is good...the filly is FIT!!

Sweat > 7, 10 , 3 .....10 was the most muscle bound out of those 3 and was cantering which is also a great sign for me

I am so happy I put #7 in for 2nd......and MUNNYFORO was blocked and jostled the whole race behind slow closers and Justin Stein should have broke from the gate much better....shit
