How much $$$$ did you put to win on #1 and #8? 

If that #5 wins......this is gonna pay real well for a 20 cent play.... greater than $800 and maybe $1500 ...but if #1 or 6 wins here, slice the payout

It's hard to hedge until you get to the 5th as you don't know what the potential payouts are

Let's wait and see what the odds are. I would put $50 or more on #1 likely and $20 on #8 and I forgot about #6....would put $20-30 on that one

I want to spend about $100-150 on backups if the payout is over $500 to the #7 in Race 5.....I do this to prevent me from going broke from a string of close calls and keep my account at positive of just down a little

I started the account in July for $1000 and now am at $1200 and change so I am hoping to get rolling here....I do my best in cool weather and windy weather

ok, I need an explanation here.  Why does the #7 only pay $47.72 with a pick 5 when a 16-1 bomb hit? I don't get this.

Gonna watch post parade and bet one horse maybe $20 to win if I feel the odds are decent and the horse has convinced me its ready to roll

The other thing to do is spend $12 and do a $2 exactor of 168 / 57 .....I have cashed $200+ on these before and hitting #5 for second would do it!!!

 Its because all other favourites came in....sometimes I play a $3 - 5 favourite ticket or 2 horses with 2 horses and so on....costs $32 for a $1  so if you have it for a $3....if the 7 wins, the person with that ticket gets paid out 15 x $42

#5 will win! Pretty confident based on what I see
