There's two nice colts going in the Risen Star Saturday at Fair Grounds race 13.
#5 Liam's Lucky Charm had been away since September but came back in the Pasco @ Tampa Bay winning easily by 5 but it could have been much more as jockey Zayas had a real good hold on him. He was the chalk in that race deservedly so but I'm unsure what type of quality he raced against in the race. He's banked about 400k going 6-3-1-2 in his career.
He'll be facing the 2nd place finisher in the BC Juvenile in #8 Anneau d'Oro with a major jock change to Rosario. He was 28-1 & lost by a head. He cashed a check for 344k that day. The winner of that race was Storm the Court @ 48-1 & the exacta paid a little less than a grand. I expect he will be the chalk. He was the beaten favorite @ Los Al in his last again running 2nd.
One other colt woke up in his last @ GP winning by 6 after shipping in from the Big A. He's #12 Ny Traffic. Oh yeah...Castellano picks up the mount.
Should be a fun afternoon.

1st post on here in a while, but this is a good race to bet on with some nice priced horses in here!
From my PaceAdvantage post:
R12 Risen Star Stakes presented by Lamarque Ford 1 1/8 Miles (Dirt) Local Post: 6:12pm CT and 7:12 ET
[image from unapproved source] Anneau d'Or 9-5: Obvious choice to beat. 2 bullets @ 6F are spectacular. [image from unapproved source] Ny Traffic 10-1: Ships into FG off a nice win by 6. Can surprise at price. [image from unapproved source] Fame to Famous 20-1: 1st time on the Dirt and could wake up today.
Not going to bet big, but seeing if can sneak in a win bet on [image from unapproved source] and a exacta key [image from unapproved source] with [image from unapproved source][image from unapproved source][image from unapproved source][image from unapproved source][image from unapproved source][image from unapproved source]

Finnick will be up there. He had a terrible ride and trip last time.
I see Finnick the Fierce beat Tiz the Law by a head @ Churchill back in November. He was 87-1 in that race running 2nd. His closing style is fun to watch but I don't think he can stay 10 to 12 lenghts off the pace with the 5 & 8 on the lead. He has to stay a little closer IMO.
If 5 & 8 burn each other out, he could be right there.

I’m on #1 Digital 6-1 ml in Race 12. Really think he trips out sitting 3rd or 4th then gets it late. Hoping he floats up to around 10-1 also.
Race 13 I LOVE #7 Major Fed. He is my derby horse and this will be the best odds you get on him the rest of the derby trail He will come crushing up late and just needs a clean trip
Good luck all!

Race 12 I like #7 Blackberry Wine to win & ex 7/ 9-10-11; tri key 7/9-10-11
Race 13 I like #5 Liam's Lucky Charm to win & ex 5/8-10-12-7; tri key 5/8-10-12-7
If you've been playing Gulfstream you know the weather in SFLA has been horrible today. Got a few buddies coming over to watch the Spartans/Terrapins. It's always good to have multiple TV's.
