Ah, that's why the currencies aren't moving.  I was wondering why that was.  My first trade I fucked up on because I thought I had bought USD at 1.80267 (the bid price) so when I saw the ask price at 1.08302 I sold, and was confused when I saw a loss.  Then I noticed what I did wrong. Good thing they have practice accounts

So the first thing I learned here was that you always end up buying the currency high and sell the currency low, so you need the low number to cover the pip spread to make a profit.  Kind of like a favorite having to cover a point spread I guess.  Not as easy as it looks.

i wrote out a long as response and when i hit submit i got the error page.....if you guys are still on here respond and we can look at a chart together and i point out what i look for

looking at the charts from lastnight i see USD/JPY went down to 1.0485......that coulda been an easy 50 pip trade but i sold out too early....30+ pips still not bad though
 
I will be here all next week to make a play at 3am....so if you guys can be here we can make some $$$$$ together

Take a look at EUR/CHF......its ready to be a buy at open
 
RSI is on the bottom +DMI line bottom ADX line topped put.......id look for the pair to move up about 70 pips....ill be watching this Sunday 5 0clock sharp

Was just checking my Forex practice account. Made my first profits on the USD/CAD pair!

I think I could get hooked to this Forex stuff!

Well, it wasn't much.  I had bought 2 lots of US dollars on Friday night, before I realized that the Forex market was closed.  Then when I checked my Forex practice account, I saw I was up $125 or so and I closed my position.  Wasn't much, and it's not real money, but it was cool seeing the money potential with this.  I still need to learn a ton though, I basically lucked out because truthfully, I'm not sure what I'm doing

missed the little bottom out on EUR/CHF.....tested 1.5300 right at the close of the last block couldnt pull the trigger up 30 pips in 7 min

USD/CHF is dangerous.all the lines middle part of the chart.......could go either way

I got it at 1.1282    at minus pips right now around -20 pips

I brought a premieretradeAI software back over 3 years ago.  My broker is FXDD, but my charts are from PremiereTradeAI

watching EUR/CHF....tested 1.5390 twice since open if it gets there again i will buy 2 lots
 
i trade using 4 hr chart..technical indicators only RSI @DMI
 
look at EUR/CHF setting up your chart with those and look how RSI line is on very bottom and DMI line are as far apart as they can get.....as i type this though its already 40 +pips off its bottom i think i missed it

what do you set your rsi at?  upper band 70, lower band 30, length 14?
