Hey guys, I logged in to my Forex account.  So, what exactly do I look for?  What is the DMI and RSI lines I'm supposed to be looking for?

wow everything we were looking at has just went off........EUR/JPY 141 level.....EUR/CHF approaching 155

ok on the forex page there a tab that says chart v. 1.0........click on that...click the technical studies tab.add RSI[sma] and Directional movement index......once you have those go int the right hand corner and zoom chart out 3 clicks

 

you should then have almost a months worth of blocks on your screen.....this is important cause you nned to be zoomed out far enough to see if the DMI RSI ever reall touch bottom

Ok, I got that.  So, you buy when the DMI is lowest, and sell when the RSI is highest?

when the +DMI and RSI touch top of the chart sell....when -DMI and RSI touch the bottom you buy....4 hr chart
 
an upward cross of the ADX over either DMI line with RSI near top or bottom [RSI top=buy or RSI bottom=sell]

SHOULD SAY +DMI and RSI touch bottom buy..i typed -DMI

I've been making nice bank riding the USD/CHF pair.  USD keeps going up.  Put a stop loss and limit on it.  Going to catch some sleep, see how high it gets when I get up in a couple hours.

Thanks for the help bucknuts, really cool interesting stuff here.  This can be a nice little moneymaker.

sell 2 lots USD/SDG set limit for 20 pips.....buy EUR/JPY when it gets back down to 140.15 or so set limit for 30

USD/SGD sell 1.2619??not sure i closed FOREX going to bed....be back to update in morning
 
 couple plays forming for  7-9 am..check JPYs....EURs

Well, woke up and saw the Dow down huge, hence my position went in the tank.  Oh well, best not to sleep when trading. Didn't lose much.
