USD/SGD turned into a good play but i had to average up a bit......sold 2 lots yesterday at 1.4619.......woke up and was down 70+ pips bought my average up and got out with 20 pips with 4 lots..not bad if i do say so myself........lets see if we can make some $$$$$$ 2night
NGHIA...i use the DMI with RSI line.........+DMI AND RSI are bottomed out[have to be on bottom of chart.......ill buy........and if they top out i sell...make sure you zoom out on chart almost bottom is no good they have to bottom/top out
another signal is an upward cross of the ADX line through a DMI line[either one].with the RSI top or bottom....RSI will tell you buy or sell but its pretty clear looking at a chart which way it should go.....this is what i used for the USD/SGD trade.pull up a 4hr on USD/SGD look at the 4am block this is where i sold.it was just after 5am.....but if you look at the tech studies the ADX/+DMI lines were just about to cross and the -DMI line was riding the bottom of the chart.....a good size candle for 8am but the signal was good i just couldnt stay up any longer to watch for the top......but still a good trade

How long do you think one should keep "paper" trading before making the jump? I love the fact you can start with such a small bankroll, I'm itching to put $1,000 into a mini account, but I know it's best to keep learning. Today really got me itching, I had the AUS/YEN pair, the Australian dollar had bottomed out and was just going up like crazy. My unrealized profit would just go up and up. Nothing gets better than seeing money just pouring into your account. I actually got out too early, if I would have rode the small downturn, I would have been up double what I was up.
Found a nice site earlier babypips.com. Really good site to learn the fundamentals, but they say you should paper trade for 6 months before going in for real. No way I can last that long. Figure I give myself a week of learning, and I'll set aside $1,000 of my gambling winnings and put it in an account.

perfect example of upward cross play today in AUD/USD look at 12pm block
upward cross of ADX through the -DMI line....RSI on bottom +DMI on bottom[+DMI on bottom isnt need but really makes this a no brainer] the signal was there as the pair was in the low .7000s 4 hrs later .7250 and had you stayed longer almost another 70 pips...but remeber we r going for 60% of a block...250 pip blocks on my chart 150 pips in thess than 4 hrs...2 lots
