I Have A Friend's Father Who Made Over A Mil With Just 20k In Just A Year. Is That Even Possible? Don't Know What To Believe. Is This Called Forex? I Guess If Any Of Us Did Know About It We'd All Be On It. Any Opinions Are Welcomed.

that kind of money can only be made in binaries. part of trading options at the binaries is currency trading. otherwise - making 50 times more than what you invest in a span of one year seems little odd .

With the swings in the market and if you were positioned properly it is for sure possible.
Look at the moves in the US Dollar..if you were long prior to the move, the money for sure could have been made.
With 20k you could probably be long or short 5 lots in most pairs (outside the more crazy ones) and each lot pretty much equals 1k per..so if you had 5 lots then every 100 pip move means 5k, so do the math and you can see where it could be done.
Also, the risk profile is LESS with currencies than with binary options.

first of all the assets traded in binaries include currencies (also stocks, indices and commodities), secondly - in order to reach multiple 50 - you have to have a great percentage at winning unless you're gonna go like 100 winning trades and no losses. binaries have an 78% winning percentage in average and even if losing some trades here and there - the goal is achievable as long as you manage your money right. actually the only venue to make that kind of money in that rate is binaries and see for an example mavin's trading or even mine. mavin is without a slightest of a doubt best short term trader walking and another dude i know is very good at long terms. still, the long terms can not have that multiple of 50 because of the less number of trades possible to make

The "assets" in binaries are not even the issue..because you are merely trading the properties of the "asset" you are not ever intending on owning it, so you dont need to use the term asset..you are trading a short term expiration option based on whatever the item is..whereas with a currency you are not locked into a short term expiration.
Risking 100,500,1000 or a million as some of you say for a 3-5 hr expiry, or even a few days is lunacy. Its like trading an option on expiration friday, it puts the odds against you..even if you might be right for your rationalization for the position, it is crazy to trade so short term.
Of course it is possible using the Forex to get returns as mentioned above..the guy might be involved in a Forex group that pools money and trades ultra short term using higher leverage than the average retail trader can. If you were short term swing trading you could make MULTIPLE trades a day and using leverage you could easily get the returns you are scoffing about.
The number of possible trades you have no idea of knowing since we do not have all the information about how the gains were accumulated.

you\re again putting a doubt in actual facts. it is like youre having a hard time admitting the earth is round because you don't understand it... you call actual and documented trades on this particular forum and evidenced wins by followers of those trades - lunacy. i ask who is a lunatic here?
and id really if instead of denying the facts youd stick more to the documented facts. at least 3 people here on this forum have been producing steady winning trades gaining profits for themselves and their followers and all you always have to say is calling them (us) crazy and lunatics. i ask you again wallstereetcapeers - who is lunatic here - you or me, or mavin, or kingmidas?

I have to be honest and say I havent even begun to research the validity of what you guys are saying..
I dont track binary options, I dont follow the pricing or anything..so who knows. I am not interested in this for a variety of reasons.
What I do know is having ULTRA short term duration of ANY instrument means the odds are stacked against you..so to me the sustainability of short term binary options is not worth considering.
We saw a slight crack a few days back and how chasing can snowball quickly..its just not how I play the game personally.
I hope you guys do well, I dont like seeing these huge numbers being thrown around, it might mislead people and the education just isnt there for me. I dont see any education about the product or the methodology and that scares me quite a bit.
So yeah I think it is lunacy..and it would be better if you guys talked more about education and less about figures that 99% of Covers members cannot come up with to join your party.

well, so why dont you check the validity of the trades which all have time stamps and have been posted here on covers on my thread one by one? here's a link
many of the members have been following my trades and never ever here or on nba forum where i have been supplying winners for a while already - never ever any of the covers members had anything to say or complain about validity or an integrity of my trades or sports picks and never will have because i am doing all those live and since the moment of publishing of my trades and till the moment they expire anyone can follow the developments and so everyone who follows did.

No wonder the establishment and their representatives are opposed to popularization of Binary Options online trading. That takes away the edge the elitists had over an average Joe. They want an average Joe to trade at the stockmarket and use only a traditional tools in a traditional way so they can be manipulated by the information released by the same elitists who'd rather keep the whole pie to themselves. Modern slavery comes in many ways and our financial dependency on elitists is the most convenient way to keep us believing we're free and at the same time we carry all the burden. They make us pay for an education after which we can be enslaved better so we can fight to maintain their war machines, work as engineers in their industry, work as mechanics to fix their cars and planes and use the banking system which they screw through twice - charging us monstrous percentage for the mortgages we pay only to have a place to live. When the slavery was "eradicated" after a civil war - it was all a lie: what they did was that they enslaved all the races without a distinction. I did 2 tours in afa and anyone who was there will tell you that he never met any congressmen's or senator's children there, nor the children of any elitists.
And now, when finally one elitist in face of Mavin(and oh yeah, Mavin is also an elitist - but one on our side) is creating a free money making enterprise for us (as Phixer and many other respected sons of their fathers) - the elitists are jumping at their throats as they feel that their Ivy league brother is betraying them by letting us the the average Joes into the secret of how easily the money can be made. I don;t remember Wallstreetcapper ever saying anything positive to a person who made over 55k profits for himself and some who followed while the same Wallstreetcapper is always there to discuss minor trading that merely if at all results in a minor gains.
The game is sold and although neither you the Phixer or Mavin ever lead to anything negative figure wise or education wise - you're being accused without any ground to be lunatics?
This sucks mr Wallstreetcapper and you are being biased!

All of what you said did not address a single concern I had.
I dont see value in risking 50k in binary options, and if you are trading the numbers you guys are and not keeping enough to weather the storm, then you are severely gambling.
See the dollar ammts you are tossing around and the trade size..people here and most anywhere are not going to risk 1-2-5-10k per trade on binary contracts that expire in 3, 5, 12 hrs or a few days..thats just crazy.
There are way too many concerns, no education going on here, no rationale or explanation..
I am glad it works for you but to me it is akin to sports betting and since this is the investments forum, I dont really consider it investing.
I would say Forex and futures are also borderline not fully investing by the term investments, but binary trading really should not be considered by anyone seriously looking for "investments".
I wish you guys luck, I am just more interested in sharing and teaching, not bragging about wager 5k on a binary that expires in few hrs and worrying about how good my "record" is.

I dont consider binary to be on the same page as investments, there is absolutely ZERO education or discussion about strategy or methodology, just listing a trade and a daily win/loss figure..that reminds me of the regular forums.
Show me anywhere outside these binary threads that people keep win/loss totals or tallies on how much they made that day or week?
There are some crazy ways to trade in the markets that I also dont consider sound..like buying options on leveraged ETF funds, or illiquid penny stocks.
Dont get mad about my comments, this is the INVESTMENTS forum and that means more than listing a trade and a profit figure..

A few weeks ago you posted several of your "private trades" as you called them..which were trades you executed but didn't post on this forum until AFTER you knew they had won. 1. Why should anyone believe you would've posted those trades if they had lost (I can guarantee you wouldn't have, & we would never know they existed) and 2. How does the forum know there isn't 10..20..even 50 other "private trades" that were placed, lost, and conveniently never posted?

youre confusing me with someone else. i did not post no private trades. go back and check.
1.i don't post only trade results without posting the trades first as soon as i enter them.
2.although i dont have "other" trades but the ones i post - what would you care even if i had? you should either follow them or not. relate to them or not. with all that said - what is the point? to prove to you that i am a good trader? do me a favor, go and check my history on covers - 35k documented wins in nba and before i came to my senses in trading binaries - after winning some - i had a bad stretch of 1 day losing. that was sometime ago and as far as i am concerned in a different life. what i do and how i do now is a completely different approach and i take it seriously and post almost every day there's a trading.
let me add 3 - i think your post is directed to discredit without any ground and next time you want to accuse me of something existing only in your imagination - come heavy or dont come at all

first of all thanks for good luck wishes and more we interact here in and argue in a civilized way - more respect i gain for you while at the same time the distance between our positions grows with each post. in binaries the picks are called signals and the traders who post their trades are called signallers and maintain their record in order to show thw followers (you right - as in sports) how good they are. neither i or anyone here who signals - is not asking for any retribution for it and actually is helping fellow traders to make money. my trades those days are very modest and can be easily followed one to one but with that said - mavin's trades which are considerably high - can be followed proportionally to each other's bankroll. we often discuss the trades between us and both came out of the woods money management wise so i can say with full conviction that money management is a very important thing. now you in your answer to me and as well to meraby - compare binaries to sports gambling. well - everything in life can be called as a gamble - you marry a woman with certain expectations of her and the difference between what you get and what you expected can be called a spread on a fulfilment side and what is left is a juice, you buy a car - same thing - the difference between what you get and what you expected is a juice you pay etc. every step you take, every light you cross and so on and on. the thing is that in binaries there are few very sound strategies that with disciplined trading will always be odds wise on your side. and i mean always. for an example - you have a percentage indicator that shows how many traders are on a certain option - call lets say 65% and put35% at the particular platform. if you go with the majority - you will find out that most of the times you will have a winner at your hand. it is actually very simple because more people get on bioard in a certain direction - the price moves in that direction and your trade is more secured. then you have technicals and also fundamentals as well as studies as macd on your side - you find trends and watch support and resistance indicators. you did not get deep into it - that is why you consider it as a gamble and as much as it can be - it is still a gamble with high odds on your side. and the records are only a proof of tghis that if you know what youre doing - you're gonna make money in a steady fashion. and it is not corrupted like the sport is and the asset prices move in direction of moeny - more investors - more price. you can only take 5k trades max unless youre a vip and are dealing in a dealers room with 15k limits. there are also 3 month options and not only few hours.

how long a person needs to develop a good feel is very much depending on a person and the time he dedicates to the subject. since it is very much like handicapping sports - only with better odds overall on your side - for me it was time more than enough. there are few cracks to the system and a person i call monster killer has found them . we all are his "disciples" at the end of the day. even mavin who has vast financial background - learned a lot from that person in sports and much more in binaries.

Gotcha---much experience with stocks, options, and all that. But Binaries just seem a crapshoot at best. What am I missing? What do you use as a trading signal, etc.? Thanks.

If I may interfere in this exchange of friendly fire here - crapshoot at best??????
After completing 11700$ winning 3 trades today and over 70% success rate???
Mr Raiders22 - sitting on a fence and trying to understand is not enough. Get your hands dirty and risk few hundreds of the dollars before you label as a crapshoot the hard work done for free for the benefit of the people here winning over 64k since february including today's trades and 83k in recent 20 days.
Do us - the binary traders all a favor and don't trade binaries. Good luck!

I am back after a long long vacation and happy to see nothing has changed here - Mavin is making tons of money and the rest are still busy arguing if it is worth
Phixer - you also had a nice run and even Kingy is in?
Stop wasting your energies guys. Whoever approaches with attitude is not worth even considering helping them.

I am not calling it a crapshoot---I just said it seems that way to me because I am not familiar with the methods that you guys are using as far as signals to get in a certain asset and why. I don't mind blindly tailing for a while--but I want to understand so that I may do it on my own. Not trying to offend, I am considering getting involved but just wondering if this has been tried and tested for a lengthy period. Maybe 5 months is long enough I guess. May have to just jump in with both feet! Thanks for the input!

Where can I find info on methods or reasoning on which asset and which direction to choose? For example, the night before maybe I could be looking at say gold and saying if such and such falls into place tomorrow is a good day to short it, etc. I see the trades you guys are making but no info leading up to why the trade is about to be made. Any input is greatly appreciated.
