Sports gambling will eventually become legal, especially in NJ who is at the leadfront for it. The reason why Deleware has the parlay sports betting is because its one of the 4 states that are included in that law that legalized it back in the day that NJ said no to back then. Vegas, deleware, oregon n somewhere else i forget. But since this Draftkings scandal just broke recently, this is what in my opinion will push the iceberg to legalize it. Sports gambling needed a governing body to monitor the industry sort of like the SEC with Wall Street. Now the reasoning behind why this Draftking thing will help get it approved is this. Everybody in the nation loves and needs their fantasy sports. Sports gambling is bad and fantasy sports is good and harmless in the majority of minds. Which is complete bs since it is the same exact thing! Now ppl will support the regulation of fantasy sports since they now feel they've been cheated and there was a wrong doing with this insider information. That will lead to some kind of regulating body or bill to get that straightened up. Butttt, the lawyers and politicians will debate and combine that sports gambling and fantasy sports are the same thing and conjoin those two together so they both get passed and approved. So basically the politicians who were fighting this from the getgo only had the back from the gambling ppl, now i think they have the support from the majority of sports fans since most of them want their $2 fantasy line ups protected.

Someday but there is no reason to get excited about it now. Years away if ever.
Who does not want it? Local bookies. Does NJ have plenty of local bookies that keep the elected officials happy with envelopes stuffed? My guess is yes
