DRYS has billions in assets and set cash flows for 3-4-5 yrs out..the bulk market is starting to turn a little, but it has MILES to go. If you can handle the beta and think the bulk industry isnt going kaput then the stock is still a SCREAMING bargain here.

To bet on shippers it seems to me you have to bet on two things: do Americans really continue buying cheap unnnecessary crap made by Chinese slaves, and/or does the Chinese stimulus work for their domestic demand.
Personally, I think there is a better bet that the Chinese stimulus works for China a lot better than the flailing fatuous American stimulus.
America is done. Stick a fork in the American consumer.
Now China, well, China will take care of China, and that is bad news for Americanos.Soon those T bills will need a buyer, and China will politely but firmly say, no thanks, as they should have already done...
It would be nice to think that the public can be conned into another bout of buying stupid shit they never needed nor deserved, but there is a limit to even the public density.
China can find other markets to export to, and they still must create the basics of urbanites by the millions. Americans need more flat screens like they need more Chevy Novas.

Looks like DRYS has now canceled its latest deal that caused dilution . . . will be interesting to see what happens with that.
Of course the bears say it is because Cardiff isnt making out on the deal, but the reality is more ships in a bad market is not a good idea and the debt payments are heavy, and no financing was available.
Conserving cash and playing safe is a good idea.
I also heard that he might not go through with the other two drill ships from Cardiff.

Well it's pulling back, but it looks like some stability is starting around this $9 range and might dip into the high 7's again, but I think it might bounce back up again here before we know it. Thoughts?
