June Forex II

To be honest I just followed the previous 8 hrs on the 4 hr chart to see which way  eur/usd was going.  same with usd/chf.

ended up with 170ish pips just by following the herd.

things are pretty hectic round here getting ready for the wedding + honeymoon  so I really havent had much time to look at charts,  but that was a nice pick up for being in and out and not being able to monitor it.

That is awesome..I would be thrilled with 170 in a day, that is a huge hit for anyone.

I think I'm going live again at the beginning of august.

Well I hope you get back into the game, you seem to hit them straight.

I think success or failure is how deep your pockets are..all of us here seem to have high success rates, its not letting one bad trade blow the account.

Forgot to mention..

Long LB.US at 1.6420, I think the retrace was extreme and I would like 30-40 pips on this trade tonite.

I am using money management like I would with Sports betting.

using units,  risking 50 pips to gain 200 pips

that way you only have to hit 1 out of five trades to break even or 20%. 
(of course there is averaging, and adding) im still figuring that part out..

I have to share a pisser experience on this trade..I went in on the Meta platform and clicked to close the trade and mistakenly I put in a SELL stop instead of a sell limit.

With this Meta platform there are several steps to enter an order and on this one I messed up, so instead of placing a sell stop at 1.6455 (which is about to go off right now of course) I put a sell stop, which triggered immediately and I made 3 pips instead of 35 which would have happened now.

I heard yesterday from a friend who dabbles in forex that meta 5 is out or comming out and a lot of the "quirks" that meta 4 had are being resolved.

Sorry I just saw this now..

I am using the meta4 from FXDD and setting a limit order is a pain, adjusting an order is a pain, it is complicated closing an order etc etc.

Long LB at 1.639 looking for 50 pips.
