First off I want to say that KS has done a great job since he started posting his picks and has yielded a nice profit overall.I respect his work ethic and his desire to even improve upon his solid record.The true reason this whole contest started is that based on my opinion it is extremely difficult to have a 60%+ let alone approach a 70% winning percentage over the long run if your playing multiple sports, halftime lines etc. .I don't want to discourage KS from that goal I just wanted to bring awareness to the followers who would follow blindly and wager their hard earned money that I felt based on his multitude of picks each evening that goal would be extremely difficult to sustain over the long run.Again this is just my personal opinion based on my experience,it was never meant in any way to knock KS.
Now back to myself and the contest due to my current lifestyle work,family etc. .I do not even bet 30 games in 2 months let alone 2 weeks which the contest requires.Even when I did have the time this was never my betting style.I usually bet less games and waited for my spots.
Over the years I have had strong success in College football the NFL and NBA but like I said in specific situations.College Bowl games and NFL playoffs have been extremely good to me over the years.
I have accepted the challenge and so i will work extremely hard over the next week to post games that in my opinion provide an edge or so called value for the players.
I make no guarantees excuses or projected winning percentage.The one thing though that I could almost guarantee is that I can hit over 60 percent in College Bowl games as I have been able to do that over the last 10 years or so.It would be choosing selective games but this contest does not allow me to do that since it ends before the final bowl game and will force me to choose games I might be on the fence on since I need to reach the contest requirements of 30 games.I am also not allowed to pick the same team as KS and I am sure that will happen over the course of the week where he gets to a game before I have made a final decision.
Tomorrow in the NFL I normally would only play a game or 2 and possibly 1 second half line since I usually watch most of the games but now I will have to pick more than I usually do.
Please do not tail me blindly do your own research as well before you play any games.
