NHL King playoff

I finished 2nd in the NHL King Covers Playoff contest. The playoff finished wednesday june 07 and still no e-mail for my cash prize 300$ usd. Is it normal ?? Thank you !

 I finished 19th for a money clip. I have not heard either. If I recall, it can take a few days. They always come through.

Yeah thank Feri ! It was a realy nice and tight battle till the end ! I am from Montreal so I pick the final with my heart instead of my head and it cost me the 1st rank haha ! I am ready for next playoff to finish 1st !! Have a good summer Feri !!

Finally the mail arrived but with it also the info about the change of payment method and of course we should wait and be patient for that. Imho opinion that's not a right way to do it. Instead of finding a way to pay the winners they simply decided to stall it and hold the money! Not right! Therefore I'm asking in the name of us all, to use some Skrill account and pay the payable! Covers is the best place for following US sports and that's why I was quite surprised when it came to contacts. Firstly I didn't get my call answered as promised, then I didn't get my mail answered as promised and now I should be patient for the payment?! This is not how payments should go nowadays!

They send me the same e-mail. I returned all the document and I waiting for me 300$ usd deposit in my skrill account. They say they are in transition between paypal and skrill but I saw a post on the Survivor Forum that they are also in transition in april 2021 .. so it’s a little bit long 4 month to change payment method. I hope I receive my prize sooner than lather.

i came 2nd in mlb spring training. My tangerine bank account wouldnt accept their deposit bcuz my bank doesnt accept international deposits, so ive been waiting since april to recieve my $600. Ive been talking with the covers admins quite a bit and i last heard from them last week that the skrill account is almost all set up. Hope this helps ya all if you havent received your prize yet! ive sent them all my skrill account info as well last week so its just a matter of time!!

Last Wednesday morning (a week ago) they've sent the additional required info to Skrill according to Colin. Skrill needed hours or a day top to react and open the account. Since then I've tried to contact Colin by mail but he's ignoring me. Not that I've not been paid but I'm not getting any info either.. I've lost my enthusiasm long ago.. It's ok to say your payment is going to be two days or a week late, opposite to our rules, but it's not OK ignoring mails of those, whose money you're holding!

still nothing @Feri, was told on august 5th their skrill account was setup and they were gonna use me as a their test payment. was Also told they had to wait 2 business days for their funds to get to their skrill account to send to me but still nothing yet. Im patient though and will let them do their thing and will respond to this thread once theyve sent it too me. In 2011 i won their MLB pick 3 office pool that was originally the betjamaica contest, but betjamaica closed before the contest ended and they sent that $1000 right away to my paypal account. so im pretty certain theyll eventually have it all figured out here soon i hope. if anyone one else has received their winnings please reply to this thread

i get just the test payment from covers. ill msg again when i receive the rest, but everything should be all ready to go for their skrill account.

Two days ago I finally received the money , though instead of €680 , 650. Also no word about the hoodie or the replacement..

1 and a half month was needed!!

Understandable when there are some issues like they had opening the Skrill account, but then a fair side would say 'we were three weeks late with the payment so we'll offer something in return'.. Instead I was ignored in emailings etc..

Though as I've said many times, it's a great site concerning US sports, I've seen their dark side and won't surely not be idealizing them any more. F.e. the 'NHL Make picks' button is still alive ..

..should read: 'won't be idealizing them'..

Also.. have the Canadian guys received their rewards for 2nd and 3rd place?

If not it's a real shame! They fought fair and deserved it just like myself! No rules should take that away!

There has to be a way to solve that!
