Taking my wife to see Bon Jovi at MGM on 4/12. Probably won't be as much fun as my last trip out for the SB, but I'll score major points with the wife since she's a Bon Jovi freak. 
 
Anyone else gonna be out there that weekend?

Oh well, guess it will just be me and the wife....Was looking forward to meeting a few covers brothers.

I'm going 5/15 - 5/20...  hope I don't go broke

and btw, this time around, screw Mandalay Bay's Buffet... you need to try the food at the Rio.

I doubt we leave the MGM property. We may venture up to Caesars and Mirage for a few hours on Sunday, but MGM has all that we need and it's all comped.

That's usually how I roll as well.  Although after I leave I always feel guilty for not venturing out to more places.

MGM is good about hookups.  They got me great seats free for U2 a couple years ago, last minute too.

My host at MGM is the bomb. She takes very good care of us.

My wife told me last night that she wants to go check out the Wynn. Does anyone know if the monorail gets anywhere close? Perhaps on Sunday we'll check out the north end and catch the Morage and Caesar's on the way back south..

They like to see an average bet of $50 - $100 with at least 4 hours a day at the tables.

That's correct.  I would say close to $100 than to $50 though.

I agree  Depends on your host too. One good session of pressing your bets can bring up your average rather quickly. I usually start at a $50 table and if things are going well, I'm betting 200-300 before I know it. When things go bad, I'll hit a $25 table and ride it out for a while. I think they look for more time at the tables than they do the average bet.

all sportsbook and poker for me. blackjack is a suckers game, well, MUCH more so of a suckers game than sports or poker.
