Wynn Encore Play by play May 26-29

Heading out this Sunday. Staying at the Encore for 3 nights. 

Leaving tomorrow at 7 am. Should be checked in by 10 am Vegas time!

Just pulled into the Encore! $15 cab ride if anyone is wondering.

check in was simple at this time in the morning. $20 trick worked for upgraded view on higher floor. heading down to play some video keno. keno is how I warm up, it's kind of like stretching out before you play.      

Keep the updates coming! I love when I hear that $20 trick works, especially at one of the classier hotels.

Hit 3 out of 3 a couple,of times on video keno. I play $3 a turn, pays about $150 per hit. Killed an hour and cashed out for $80.00. Putting the $80 in safe to pay stupid resort fee when we check out. Timed the buffet perfect. We have 2 free v.i.p passes. They were just changing from breakfast to lunch so we got the best of both worlds. We will eat breakfast free the entire stay. If you play $25 blackjack and tip the dealer when the pit boss is looking you never have a problem getting breakfast buffet comped. If you have not had buffet at Wynn you are missing out. My buddy eats his weight in cream puffs alone!  Now we are stuffed to the max, no need to worry abou food till late tonight. Time for first session of blackjack. No sports bête till tomorrow. 

Well 3 hours of blackjack. Lost $350, but did get 2 v.i.p buffet comps for tomorrow. Time to walk around and people watch for a little bit. Need  a sapphire and tonic to get going here. We have a long day ahead of us. Going to walk over to the palazzo and play some craps.

Wow! Super late night last night. I can not believe I am awake this early.  Good thing my buddy and I are morning people. Time to shower and go down and hit the buffet hard, I am starving. Yesterday afternoon we ended up at the Palazzo playing craps for a couple of hours.  I lost another $300 at craps!  Down about $600 after the craps game. After craps I played some blackjack again at the Palazzo.  Played until about 8:00 p.m. vegas time. Broke even for this blackjack session!  I really wanted to watch the nba playoffs at lagasse's sports book at the palazzo.  If you have not been it has really cool seating to watch a game.  Watched the game and had about 8 or 9 sapphire and tonics.  Drinks were not free in sportsbook.  one of us would go out and play a penny slot, get served and head back in. After game we headed back to the encore.  Played cleo slot machine $1.00 denomination.  I am about $150.00 in and I finally get the pyramids.  I won $475 in the bonus. Down about $275 for the trip so far.  Had a couple more drinks and headed upstairs about 2:30 a.m. Back to today, I am now working off about 6 hours of sleep and feeling it.  Need buffet fast bacon/coffee/etc, need to coat the stomach for todays action.  Heading to the sportsbook after breakfast. sorry for spelling errors and time frame of events. very sleepy!! lol

Great breakfast! Too full now! After eating ran back to the Cleo slot machine all excited,since it's the only thing that has paid me so far. That was a mistake. Lost $200! Down about $475 for the trip so far. Not too bad I guess for having a great time. After Cleo headed over to carribean stud game at palazzo. Hit a full house and a couple other decent hands. Made $150 profit! Now only down $325. Lol. Heading to sports book to drop on the Rays game. Marlins suck! Nice reasoning right?lol. I will not be counting any sports bets in Vegas on my yearly totals as alcohol will be involved. No drinks yet today!  Heading to pool for a while to check out the scene. Hope to come back to the sportsbooks to see the rays cruising along. Bet $592 to win $325 on rays. Rays win will put me all square for the trip! Don't forget I put that $80 keno winnings in safe to pay dumb resort fee.  Off to the pool might have to break out some sapphire and tonics!

They'll give you drink tickets if  you lay enough money on those baseball games.
You might have to ask for them too.

I think if you chopped your bet into 6 x $100 bets you would have got 6 free drinks.

Jay can't stand the drink tickets! Such b.s when the bellagio is so awesome about it. They almost make you beg. Easy enough to play slots between innings and get them without the hassle. I still think they should track your play in sportsbooks for comps, yet I asked again and the answer was no! pool scene is pretty sweet on this memorial day holiday! European pool not living up to name. All tops,are on!wtf. Heading back to shower and then watch the end of the rays game. 

Never had a problem getting drink tickets even after placing a 50 dollar wager. He is right. Just have to ask. 

Go to Mirage for the topless pool they have the best one and I guarantee tops will be off there!  good luck tonight, I hope the Rays win.

Rays win!      Just venting about drink tickets. I know you can get them, I just don't like dealing with the hasstle of it. Most guys working counter in sportsbooks are not very hospitable let's say. I can drink all I want out on the floor and no hassle. Going to cash $500 at blackjack and hopefully play for a few hours. Need to earn comp for dinner. Rays game gets me back to square for the trip!

Up early again. I do not know what it is. The time change from the east coast or knowing all that action is just an elevator ride away. Played blackjack for about 4 hours averaging between $25 and $50per hand. Had great conversation with pit boss during play. Finished up the session down about $200. Had some good/bad runs during that time,but never up too much. Asked for 2 comps for dinner at society cafe. The pit boss said she was on tomorrow in same pit and that I needed a little more play and we would be all set Tuesday night. She did give 2 VIP comps for breakfast buffet. The VIP lets you skip the line which is nice. After blackjack session we grabbed a quick bite at the sportsbooks restaurant zoo zoo guy. Not much drinking up to this point, but that is about to change. Bring on the sapphire and tonics. My buddy and I find a great craps game and go on nice run. We cash out for about $400 each! You know the table, good looking ladies rolling for long periods of time and never crapping out. Everybody winning yelling and having a blast ! So far this is the part of the trip that stands out so far. Nice buzz winning $$ meeting great people. Dropped some $ in a couple of slot machines hoping for the big win!lol headed up to the room about 1am. Only 3 hours of sleep. Waiting for my buddy to wake up so we can kill the buffet again. I am watching espn  and love seeing the rays highlights each time the go by. 3 hours till buffet opens. I figure after all food cab rides tipping up about $50 for the trip.
