Fedor isn't unbeaten and -400 is brutal.

Fedor has never actually lost, the only reason why is that he got an unlucky cut and they wouldnt let him fight anymore...

anyone that doesn't understand why Fedor is considered undefeated should not be betting on MMA

I'm sorry Bob, but you look like an idiot. #1 your 'great' price is crap and anyone who doesn't know how to price shop should not be betting on ANYTHING. #2 Just hope that nobody acted on your advice and took Fedor at that shitty price. #3 Taking a 1/4 favorite who wins really doesn't make you look knowledgeable. #4 If the cut were caused by a butt, the bout would be a NC. If it was caused by a strike and was bad enough that Fedor could not continue, it is a loss, pure and simple. DEAL with it. Fighters lose. Anderson has four losses. #5 I'll put my MMA knowledge and experience as the owner of one of the better small orgs in the country against yours any day. Perhaps you should stop betting.

it was not a NC because it was a tournament and better than that THE ELBOW WAS ILLEGAL but who cares, i only have one book that that lets me bet mma(the title of the topic is lines are up at betED, i never said they have the best price) so I'm taking what i have. betting -400 lines doesn't make anyone a great caper but until proven differently there is no reason to bet against Fedor, this line could be 1/5, 1/6 and chances are that the line will move, this is why 1/4 IN MY opinion is a great price

Ok. That's reasonable. Good luck on the fight. The line has been moving, but actually downward, as AA is working with Freddie Roach.
I think he presents more risk than Sylvia and those odds were lower.

I have Fedor at -351 at Pinnacle.   the Pitbull is a great fighter but i just dont see him hurting fedor at all. Fedor will destroy him, believe that.  Arl has beat a couple weak fighters in my opinion in his last couple fights.

Yeah, Arlovski beat Ben Rothwell in his last fight. Not a very impressive win. I will say that Arlovski looked a lot better his last fight, though. He was garbage in the UFC. He and Sylvia had about the same amount of talent (little) when they fought. Sylvia is still garbage and only has size. Even with the improvement Arlovski will not do anything against Fedor.

i agree with BJ, and the fact that he is training with roach on his boxing, that one solid punch has alot better chance of landing and doing more damage then it use to.. with that said and from seeing him in his last fight.. i see way too much value in AA to not take it..

AAs stand up just isnt good enough. Unless AA somehow lands a Fujitalike punch, Fedor will dominate on their feet where I believe most of the fight will take place. AA is a good all around fighter. Unfortunately Fedor is better than him in every aspect of the fightgame. That includes standup, clinch, submission, wrestling/takedowns, chin, heart, endurance, speed and strength. If AA does get better of the exchanges Fedor can get the fight on the mat, I dont think AA can do the same.
 
Randleman was stronger and had better wrestling that created the slam.
 
Hunt over-powered an Americana on him.
 
I'm trying to find situations but there really isnt an area AA can exploit him with AAs skillset.

Fedor will destroy the Pit Bull period. The Pit Bull is soft He got destroyed what twice by Sylvia who lasted how long with Fedor...LOL

I think it's kind of hard to be comfortable taking Fedor at anything more than -350.  If there has been anything I have learned this past year in MMA, it's that upsets happen. (Evans over Liddell, Mir over Nog, Brown over Faber etc.) Like someone said earlier, all it takes is a clean punch that catches Fedor off guard and it's over.  Don't get me wrong I feel Fedor wins this one but its tough to put that much money at risk with such a small reward.  I may have to think about parlaying this one.

ALot of you guys have no clue what the hell you are talking about, Arlovski's standup is top notch, after this fight he will start his pro Boxing career, His standup is bar afr better then Fedor's, watch Fedor tapes and you will see he throws looping wind mill type punches. Yes he hits hard but don't say he has better standup then Arlovski.Plus they are both Sambo experts, and Fedor just lost his last Sambo match while he was training for this fight.That will be in his head as he faces another Sambo expert. JMHO

gamblingallday, I hope you don't bet MMA that much, if you think Fedor has more speed then Arlovski you fukin nuts.Arlovski is by far the superior athlete in this match does that mean he will win no, But I sure as hell wouldn't count him out.

Fedor throws casting punches. Igor V threw those same eastern euro heavy handed punches. To discribe it as "looping wind mill type punches" shows your ignorance. Western boxing is not the end all be all of standup stance style and technique.

(Wandy's punches can be considered wild and loopy. He throws rounded hook after hook.)

Fedor has better standup than AA. And it will be plainly evident come Jan24. 

Fedor is also a more accomplished Sambo player.

The way i look at it, if Fedor and AA fought 10 times, Fedor would win at least 8 which makes this a worthy bet when getting -360.
