I just hope Shogun doesn't gas. Late 1st or early 2nd round TKO for Shogun.
Anyone got any info on this Nedkov character? Is this his UFC debut? I
saw Nedkov vs Cane and my first thought was, "this is the
showcase/gimme fight for the Brazilian fans."

Nedkov is unbeaten at 11-0. But, has faced low level fighters. His only wins of note are a split decision victory over Kevin Randleman and a TKO of Travis Wiuff. He has the goods though. National wrestling champion, Black belt in BJJ, and a boxing background.

No way Shogun knocks out or tko's Forrest. Forrests length n gas tank will win this fight n Shogun better hope it dont go to the ground Forrest is heavy on top. I really like Forrest here nothing set in stone yet but if i bet it it will be Forrest, Shogun just dont have it like he use to in my opinion no matter how hard he tries to prove he still up there with the elite, his style is washed GL peeps

I'm with you on Shogun won't like it if this fight goes to the ground with the bigger Forrest on top. That's why I'm thinking Shogun uses his speed and striking to keep Forrest from taking him down. Also, I saw a interview with Forrest and he seems like he's not in the fight mentally. He just seemed like a more down and glum Forrest. Take it for what its worth.
Also, I'm leaning on Cane due to his experience and having fought this year. Nedkov hasn't fought in almost a year! I have a feeling the hometown factor will be in effect for this fight as well as a step up in competition for Nedkov.

His style is washed? What style is that? Elite MT and dangerous BJJ along with great offensive wrestling? How many guys took Chuck, Coleman, or Arona down in their careers? Anyway, Shogun's knees are shot and it is tragic. He is the Sandy Koufax of mma. IF he is 100%, he runs through Forrest with ease. He is a much, much better fighter. But if he shows up like he did in the 1st Griffin, Coleman or Jones fight, he will lose.

Exactly my point about the knee(s) an his style being washed he dont fight the same cause of it he needs to connect punches to finish Forrest and sorry i dont see it happening. Forrest will hang on the outside or get on the inside if he gets any one off those spots he grinds out the win.

I was leaning on Schaub but can't commit. That crowd is amazing and I'm thinking Nogeuira may pull off some Tito-esque old guard of MMA magic in his hometown. If anywhere else, my money is on Schaub.

Here's my official plays:
Cane over Nedkov
Shogun over Forrest
