Regarding the KBO: What we really need here is something to help us get our minds around South Korea in general, and South Korean baseball in particular. Now, I know very little about South Korea except that my brother served there (during peacetime) and I have had some excellent Kimchi from time to time. At the same restaurants I have also had some excellent pork ribs; so, there is my only connection to the topic under discussion. That being said, I remember a story about baseball in Iowa involving pork. It seems there was a game at one of those town parks that might border anything, and in this case it was a pork feed lot where the hogs are fattened before going to slaughterhouse and eventually winding up as the bacon, sausage and ham we all enjoy, not to mention chops, roasts and bar-b-que. Well, it turns out there was a break in the fence and some fat hog slipped through into right field. A guy slashed a hit through the infield and before the right fielder could get to it this fat-azz hog swallowed the ball! Heavens to Murgatroyd, the guy couldn’t get the hog to upchuck the ball so he threw his arms up in the air like they do at Wrigley when one gets stuck in the Ivy, Since there is no stated ground rule concerning that the hitter ignores the fielders plight and continues on around the bases. The hitters team figures he scored, but the opposing manager storms out of the dugout screaming about ground rules and interference and one of the hogs in the stands pestering him for a date later (Iowa has hogs of several varieties). So the umpires convene a conference and get their heads together. It takes less than a minute and the head umpire comes away from the conference circling his finger (index, not middle) in the air for a home run. Of course the other manager comes out screaming “How in the hell can you make that ruling?” The head umpire (smile on his face) says “Isn’t it obvious? It is an inside the pork home run.”
I don’t know if that helps or not with the handicapping, but it took most of you guys at least a couple minutes to read and get a chuckle, and we can allow JEG 5 or 6 minutes, whatever he needs. Maybe 10 if his wife or daughters are not home to help him with it.

LOL! okay so how do I put it in a non fixed way? I seem to have it figured out but with so few games and the only spotlight on them, it makes you question some of it at times. I mean an 18 year old kid starting for the first time ever in the majors pitches a shutout for 6 innings. This kid couldn't pitch a breaking ball to save his life. Mind you the umpires are just horrible. They guessing when they calling balls and strikes. The quality of umpires and bullpen pitching is so bad. With that said the ESPN game last night should have gone way over the total but of courses in good old fashion it went way under. Scratch my head on this.
But I will say if you got an International pitcher taking the mound, autoplay for the F5 innings. Even the ones that started bad are coming around. If you are going to back a team for an autoplay or value, back NC Dinos and LG Twins. I also lilke KIA but you need to handpick them on certain plays. Bet against always from here on out is SK and Lotte. Now on the major decline and most over rated bet against when there is huge value is Doosan. These guys will blow games in a heartbeat. If they are a plus -150 or higher against a decent pitcher, I will bet against them and always win. Promise this team is the most over rated team in the league.

The beauty of having a GE license here in the 808. you get free gambling money because as a self-employed person I can claim unemployment and blame the not working on covid. Stay at home and get paid really good for not working. about 1G a week. Gotta love our society.

I'm not sure we will have to pay up for this, but I do think people will have to learn how to work again for sure. I laugh at the idea but it's true.

Yes true I am being taxed on this money I collect and have been taking it out from every check.

Since bd_c and BigD are both studying this KBO league, but struggling, perhaps they should collaborate. Worth a try? How about you guys argue the card in this thread and then land on a best bet for all of us? I would trust you for a day or two. Probably. Maybe. Hell, why not?

Well before I did not have teams listed, now when I went to look at what they had if anything I got an ALERT saying Firefox is blocking me from opening site as the site owner has not paid something so the site is not safe and Firefox said to contact owner to let them know site could be compromise, never seen this one before but if its a big price and no one is gambling could see them letting it expire.
I watched a couple innings on one of ESPN channels and with no fans it was a bit weird, but the Stadium I saw was good size so why not sell some tickets, could not be many that can afford it or the amount of tickets they could manage to sell with additional staff might not be worth it,but they do seem way ahead of us as far as re-opening things.
I am watching a baseball movie called FOR LOVE OF THE GAME ,its another one by Kevin Costner, not as good as FIELD OF DREAMS, but it is a good one,I been getting sports fix from watching movies,Tuesday I watch FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, I know even Key has seen that one.

I don't know whether to be more pizzed off or sickened but my book has huge lines on these KBO games, usually 40 cents or so, and I suppose he needs that for his own protection, but it seems to make most games a foolish bet at best. We have hit the 100's consistently now so baseball on te patio at 2:30 A.M. does not so bad, but I can't see throwing money away on poor value. Is anyone seeing 10 or 20 cent lines on these games? I could see 20 but it is all but impossible to beat 40 cent lines. Guess I just have to suck it up, tuck it in, and wait for MLB and MLBPA to work something out. Movies are OK, but I can't watch too many of them 3 or 4 times. Many are not worth watching twice. Every once in a while I spend time in the politics forum, but that is not exactly a group of open minded debaters either, mostly just calling the opposite side of any Rep/Dem argument stupid. The guy that agrees with you can't spell or compose a grammatically correct sentence, but you are suppose to call him brilliant, just because he agrees with you. If you like Trump you are a POS, just like your hero, and if you say ANYTHING anti-Trump you are a HILLARY LOVER. My wife still has her gardening and my dog is old, so he can sleep 20 hours a day, but I am bored and frustrated. Might lose my mind and go postal.

KEY You like that post huh enough to do it twice huh, lol.
So if you have -140 what are the other side+120?
You would not play these games for the same amount that you play MLB right, you could do a bit of research to see if underdogs have any value,I do not think you should do your 300 a games on this, but more of a something to do as the not being able to do anything has to of changed your retirement not for the better. And that is only if you feel like doing something different, this being stuck at home thing, but hell this might be your time of year when its hot and you stay home anyway.
I would of played a few but I would of tailed you guys or bet the American Pitchers, lol and I am up late so I could of watch them and maybe made some money, but it looks like the site is shut down for now but I could do 5 dimes, isn't that the one you use?

Too bad you don't bet football (the real one!), here in Europe leagues are starting to get going again, so some relief for the true degenerates out there, most leagues will be underway by the middle of June. I don't see how they'll play baseball this season, saw that only the NHL came out with a game plan, which will be underway next month.
What about reading? You could never go wrong with a book, I could give you some titles, if you'd like...
