Like clockwork, Mike Minor has an unearned run under his belt
@undermysac
They charged him for that run. The Royals suck.
Interesting fact for the Cardinals. Matt Carpenter and Paul DeJong are a combined 3 for 43 this spring. And hitting #4 and #5 in the lineup.
Note to self, find a new hobby

"The Dodgers are too good, top to bottom. And their farm is excellent. Get used to it fellas."
If I were a billionaire and told you my yacht put your fishing boat to shame, would you be surprised?

Adding more to...
Arizona +122
Tomorrow:
Brewers +110
Gonna wait out the Padres line and wait to see who's pitching for the Royals. The CWS used their top 3 bullpen arms today.

So did anyone else think Tom Brady would retire after last SB win beside me? Seems he has spread out his contract for 4 years and TB gets to keep every player, the 2 Offensive Lineman that were hurt for Chiefs and had the back-ups playing that almost got there QB hurt for ever will be cut because they can not afford them so KC will try to replace them in draft or go with guys that were not able to stop anything in Championship Game.
Maybe Tom will take a bit more off his yearly and then the Bucs can sign KC starting Tackles when they are released.Tom could end up playing 5 more years if he gets the blocking he got this year in second half of season.

I feel the same, but I'm a fiend.
I/we need to really shake these sucker bets, they're staring us right in the face, day in, day out.
It's why Barney is doing so well. The man has no soul, just hits submit like nobody's business.

"Sucker bet" examples...
Yesterday Justus Shefield a fav.
Today Kyle Gibson a fav.
Gibson threw 4 perfect innings, and Dane Dunning follows him to pour salt in the wound.
Then the D'backs decide to let Gallen hit for himself, while the Rangers stick with a DH. I looked at lineups and didn't see that initially.

Remember that year of the Cubs where they had the best defense in all of baseball? Crushing it on both sides, won the WS? Manager Joe had them dressing up and doing all kinds of crazy stuff, they were having fun. That is a super key ingredient.
Now SD has a big big head, will Tatis Jr stay humble? Will there be some egos clashing in the club house? This worries me for the regular season, it's my only worry actually. Cronenworth and Wil on the field and Lamet, Morejon on the hill are the only humble starters. But Tatis Jr, Machado, Grish, Snell, Hosmer already with a ring... Paddack last year claimed with 5 starts under his belt that he was going to win the Cy Young.
There are players who are competitive in their sleep and never mail it in. For ST these players are golden. I don't think SD is looking at these games as anything other than going through the motions, a warmup. They rocked last year without ST and now they are juiced. I don't trust them ST and now my opinion for them reg season is scaling back a little. From what Ive seen so far this ST I don't see them having fun on the field - every player in their own world. Not a good sign for my SD futures.
ST, an infield pop up Tatis tags from third, scores, that's a hot dog. Hot dogs can ruin a whole season.
If these guys gel they've got as good a chance as LAD to win the division.
Big writeup = kiss of death
3/18

Morejon going today is the only bright spot, fighting for a starting role. He's already got 10Ks (12.9 k/9) .257 ERA in 7 innings but 6 BB. WHIP 1.71.
Maybe has some control issues but when I saw him on the mound last he had no issues, a solid 2 innings.
So for 2 or 3 innings OAK should be scoreless. I bet Tingler lets him finish 3 today.
Taking SD 1st 3 -145 1U (just kidding)
