The managerial moves...especially in the NL, with double-switches and no DH, can be brutal....middle relief has become a joke. The expansion of baseball has ruined pitching; too many guys in the game that should be selling insurance somewhere....once the game goes into the "2nd half"...you don't want to be risking your money on these guys, or the old managers that over-manage or blow out their bullpen by August (Hello, Joe Torre)...

Also too many managers that wouldnt be in the game when I grew up,plus pitchers like you said.Plus you can look at any team and find 2 starters hitting below 200 or just above it,unreal from the glory days when a mgr.was afraid to take out the starter,lol

Backdoor...He did pitch in the minors, don't have his record right now; but it was being discussed on radio out here this morning...they talked more about his 9 dingers in 21 innings before being sent down...taking the history of the Phillies/Mets series, I would rather watch the game than bet it....so, obviously, I'm rooting for ya........

First off philly has one of my favorite players in the MLB right now with Victorino. He is a local boy with a lot of success. He is "the spark to there offense", as qouted by Ryan Howard.
I've always kinda liked Vic too. I like him even more that he just jacked a solo closer to my over ....then bam, another jack just as I was about to click send

Ditto on the push factor, even though that 75% might be a bit high from my end.
I'm only playing one 5 inning play, mostly because I'm doing an inordinate amount of 9 inn overs. Because of the overs, I didn't take KC & COL in 5. That and I think only one of those hits, if that.
Then the late play with MIL x CHI-AZ 8.5> 1/2 makes for a good day, so we can make up for the impending bad day

thanks norse. I followed you on that giants over as i was getting bored and wanted to play the game. I couldn't find any analysis and decided to give it a try. Didn't put much money on it but it still was positive. Look foward to more analysis for tomorrow.

I factored the bullpens a bit more than usual for that one. But I personally wouldn't have played that one had that been the only play for the day.
