Blue Jays -1 ($1500 to win $1010) manufactured using RL and ML
By now we should all know that the Blue Jays are not only the #1 offense in baseball, but that they prefer to hit against southpaws. Today they get to face a rookie southpaw, but even better, this is a rookie that THEY drafted and that THEY decided to trade. What that means is that they know Matt Boyd, and his family for that matter, extremely well. Since the trade, Boyd has accumulated pedestrian numbers, with a 4.88 ERA in 5 starts, and I don't expect him to fare well against this Blue Jays offense that should have a very good scouting report on him. RA Dickey has been inconsistent as of late, but those games were mostly on the road. He's been much better at home this year with a 3.31 ERA. To avoid playing the RL at home I bought this down to a -1 bet. Detroit has lost 6 of their last 7 games, and I don't think a rookie pitcher that their opposing team drafted is going to take down said opposing team which is the hottest team in baseball. It's just too unlikely.
Yankees RL -1.5 -125 ($1000 to win $800)
Since coming back from the DL, Williams Perez, who is another rookie pitcher, has sported a 8.04 ERA in 5 starts, giving up 26 runs in 29.1 innings. Meanwhile, 8 of Tanaka's last 9 starts have been quality outings. The Yankees are 12-6 in games that Tanaka has started, and 10 of those victories were by 2 runs or more. The Yankees bats have been inconsistent, but having a day off yesterday for their veterans should help. The Braves offense is pathetic, and has ranked as the worst offense in baseball all year no matter what way you look at it. Yankees have a huge pitching advantage and a huge batting advantage.

Soul, great run you are on ... hope it stays that way for you.
Just wanted to point out that the Yankee bats have been VERY CONSISTENT for the last 30 days ... consistently bad that is.
ARod, who carried the team much of the season, has a BA of .167 with 2 HRs in his last 30 games.
I won't bore you with all the stats, but the entire team, with the exception of Beltran, has not hit for avg or power in the last 30 days.
Tough to play a RL laying juice when a team is in an offensive funk like this.
You do make some really good points, otherwise.
Best of luck today

Yanks bats are getting tired. ARod admitted that from an interview. Although with that being said, their opponent is Atlanta. Yestrerday's dayoff would be huge, and the Yanks have too much pride to let this pennant race easily slip away. This is a game they should take, and everyone in that dugout knows it.

Good luck soulglo I have read your analysis over the past couple weeks and am enjoying some success, the best thing I have learned from you is to bet each game on its own even if you have to put up 1800-2200 to get back 1000. I have usually done parlays and that has not been the best way to make money. Thank you
