 I still don't know if I know these rules for preseason.  I read today that games could be 5,7. or 9 innings if both managers agree. Can they determine that in the middle of the game or beforehand ? Perhaps you can  enlighten me .

Who know's..thats why it was such a bad beat...I think they just decided to call the game after 7 innings instead of 9 innings like 80% of the other games..
