This is a definite spot for Houston....I agree, Silva has not set the world on fire with his performances and the Astros lost a tough one last night.  The bullpen for Houston (with perhaps the exception of Sampson) is red-hot and I really like the 'Stros in this game.

Careful here... the total is pretty low and I believe Meriwether had a streak of 8 straight over going into his last home plate appearance on the 27th.  I am not sure if that went over but I am just saying.  I would play HOU or no play.  BOL!

HOU -120 is my play.  The best write up I read on this game is below:
 
"Today is a great spot for Houston to win there series against San Diego today. Houston will have Moehler (4-4 6.05 ERA) starting today. He has been terrible at home this season but on the road he is 4-1 4.59 ERA. Walter Silva (0-1 9.35 ERA) will be starting for the Padres and he has been nothing short as terrible in his 4 starts this season giving up 19 runs in 17.1 innings pitched. In his last game he gave up 9 runs in 2.1 innings pitched to Texas. His 2 games from coming off the DL he gave up 12 runs in 7.2 innings. In Moehler start against SD this season he gave up 1 run and 4 hits in 7 innings in which they won 5-4 at home. He has also won 5 out of his last 6 starts overall only getting shelled by the Cubs which he normally struggles against. San Diego is also is 4-10 as an underdog there last 14 games and 2-9 following a win there last 11 games. The Padres are also 1-5 there last 6 games as a home underdog and one of the big reasons why I see a lot of value in this play tonight. The Astros are 6-1 against the Padres there last 7 overall and 4-1 this season against them. I also am hearing that SD could be sitting 2 of there 3 best hitters in this game and it is worth the investment to play this game."

According to pregame.com, the line opened at Houston -130, now at -115. 84% on the 'Stros and a 15 cent drop.... ?  Fishy.  Moehler ain't much better than Silva.  I will say that the Pads couldn't hit the side of a barn with a bazooka lately.

Be careful with that Special....I agree that San Diego is probably the play but Adrian Gonzalez probably has something to do with the line movement. I lean San Diego and Under myself
