Ya.. I think ill bail on orioles as well. Thanks for the feedback!
You have a spread sheet that you just input Overall. Home and Away records and it lets you know who fits the system! I cant believe i never thought about doing that... Geezzzz... Well I know what im putting together today!
i also input L10, and i look at interleague records when applicable. BTW, SF is 3-7 in interleague and CLE is 3-11 in interleague play.
in addition, about a month ago, i also started tracking how the teams did in series that i didn't play to try to pick up on any other trends. i like data analysis, which is why this way of betting on baseball is so appealing to me (that and ).

Agree D....but with one add-on comment...
I have my Masters in Stats, and for sure one thing I've learned over the years is that while the past is useful in predicting future outcomes, that never equates to reliability. (Unless Kershaw is pitching!) This is never more true than in baseball. Even if we think we stack the reliability of a future outcome in our favor...here come the books with their dream-shattering juice!
If you gents haven't checked out the "Systems & Strategies" Forum, take a look at the 2nd half Post ASG and Fade systems there. Good stuff that would compliment what you do here.
Let's have a great week!

Locked in for me: COL HOU KC MIA .5 units TB .5 units Took a flier on WAS to complete the sweep today and up 1unit going into tonight. So I decided to take a chance on MIA based on PHI's horrendous road record, and on TB as Oakland just shipped 2 of their main relievers to WAS and are officially rebuilding in hopes of a new stadium, and I can't see them sweeping back to back series vs potental playoff contenders.
BOL tonight men!
Laying off BOS as they played a 5+ hour game Saturday night, followed by 2 games on Sunday. I'm going to give them till the weekend series.

No new series for me today. Would be happy with 5 units going into the weekend series.
Tailed your picks... trying to get a better understanding of this system for Houston and KC we bet enough to win the units back from last night and then another unit on top of that?

So sorry for the late response, DB's were 1-8 our there last 9 (2-10 our there last 10) lost 5 straight. I just couldnt see them droping 8 straight with Robbie Ray and Grienke pitching this series.
***WAS NOT A SYSTEM PLAY*** I'll make sure i dont post these here so I dont confuse anyone.

The Dodgers do... not touching the Giants. >.400, 19-25 at home. As bad as the Padres suck, this is not a system play.
sf <.400 overall, much less any second half adjustment to the system, <.400home, etc....don't touch
SEA fits criteria >.500 overall, >.500 home, and the visiting NYY are <.500 away. this *should* be a series play. but with the additions the yankees just made, not sure what to expect. may lay off this one. watching the ML to see if it moves from +105

Clean slate for the 1st half of the week. Will take a look at weekend games sometime tomorrow.
Tailing on MIL reiterates trying to stick the home teams.
I agree somewhat. For people who are playing this via this forum stick to what works. I played Rockes last away series and I believe a few others did as well. Hopefully Milaukee pulls through, but even if they lose today at least I wont take a lost on the front half of the week.
Played 7 series 6 have covered and chasing Mil. If they lose I would have lost approximately 5 Units and still be up 1 (still sucks behind)
Starting Dodgers series today.

The line has moved in my book, from even $$ on Seattle to +113. Seattle swept the ChiSox before their series with HOU, and now NYY, and those guys could be looking for revenge. I think I'll lay off this one too. Only starting LAD today.
