Bodio, do your theories include teams mailing it in? Seems like it is all around the league right now and some numbers can be thrown out the window when teams clearly don't give a shit.
Thx

Hey bro missed ya for a few days I hope all is well and glad to have you back.
I noticed you don't even have a lean on the ATL/FLA game but I was loving the FISH today at -120. Here is what I came up with. Please let me know what you think.....be kind
Re-post: I forgot to mention them earlier but I also love the FISH
today at home to a super slumping Derek B-Lowe and the Bravos. Neither
team is playing particularly great ball but since getting some bats back
in the lineup FLA has played better winning 3 of 5 (ATL 2 W's
L5)
FLA is also 3-0 in Javier Vazquez's L3 outings. I had sworn off of him
earlier in the year cuz he was so damn inconsistent but lately he's been
as good as they get. In his last start he had a complete game 5 hit
shutout. The game before a 6 inning 3 hits shutout. Before that a 7
inning 6 hit 1 run outing and before that he went 7 innings allowing 3
hits and 3 runs but none were earned. Going back even further all the
way through his L10 the 6 previous outings were also ALL quality starts
(Actually all of his L10 starts are quality
outings) going 7 innings in 4 games and 6 innings in the other 2. He gave up 3 runs 3
times and 1 run the other 3 times.
Derek
Lowe has basically been the complete opposite at least recently. In his
L3 he has only lasted 13.1 innings,allowed 26 hits,has a whip that
looks more like and era at 2.48 and his era looks Wes Welkers average
yards per catch at 10.12. Oh and yeah you probably already guessed he's
0-3. For comparison Vazquez's L3 he is 3-0 with 22 IP,only 14 hits,a
whip of .73 and a ridiculous era of .41.
Lowe is also coming off his
shortest start in two years and trying to avoid a career high 4th
straight loss. Javy is looking to win his 5th straight. My only real
concern is that Lowe is 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA in two starts against
Florida this season, with both coming in Miami but with his current form
so bad thats not enough to scare me off this one. THOUGHTS ???
Thanx

Bodio, the Brewers are still playing for home field advantage in the first round. If the D-Backs finish with a better record, guess who Milwaukee is playing...the Phillies!
Better best believe they are trying their best to finish the season strong!
Best of luck anyhow sir.
That's right on the money. Assuming the Braves take the wild card the Phillies can't play them. So yes, Phillies would take on whoever has the worse record between the Brewers and D-Backs

Good to see your leaning for Halos against the Jays, Halos has a very very slim chance to catch the Rangers on the AL West but still has a chance for the wildcard.
This team has to win all its remaining games in order for them to catch the wildcard spot.
Good luck Bodio !
