Dont confuse the Orioles with having the worst record, thus far, with being the worst team. They are not the worst team in baseball but had a string of bad luck to start hte season.All Star leadoff man and 2nd baseman Brob injured til June.Starting LF injured for 3 months: PieCloser out till June: GonzoBest bullpen arm wil return in 2 weeks: KojiThey have had one of, if not, the most difficult schedules to start the season which included 16 straight days of games wtihout an off game along with 2 series with the Rays, Sox, and soon to be 2nd series with the Yanks. Had to travel out west to play the Ms and As. While all this was going on they struggled to get into an offensive groove since their leadoff man, and one of the best inthe game, was out and have started hitting the ball better over hte past week and half.

Still 4 more innings to go.  You can&#x27;t trust the O&#x27;s pen (or the manager to use them properly).If anybody told me in March that Varitek would have 5 HR&#x27;s in only 32 AB&#x27;s, I&#x27;d have said they were crazy.

That&#x27;s one of the great things about Camden Yards when they designed the place.  The outfield walls.  You never know if it&#x27;s an HR when that outfielder jumps up like that over the wall.  Good try by Jones, but it&#x27;s a new ballgame at 2-2.

Not a good ph AB at all for VMart. If you're going to make an out, at least advance the runner to 3rd base. He's going to continue to struggle at the plate until he decides to only swing at good pitches to hit. Everything he swung at was high
