Hockey guys...and I can't name you 2 players on either team but I can look at stats and read....lol
Dallas -130??? They have completely dominated this series and 6-1 in goals I think. I read the Minnesota locker room is in shambles...Dallas simply looks like the better team all around.
Does this correlate to my above NBA analysis that the Stars simply are better than Minnesota? If so, who cares what the line is, play the Stars? A whisper against and I will PASS but from what I have seen, this looks easy. And yes, I am sure the Minnesota home crowd will be crazy, but other than last line shift (Lol just learned that) is NHL home ice really an advantage? Nashville just took 2 from the #1 seed? That would NEVER happen in any other sport probably.

PimpNation, I agree with what you wrote. I would add that Curry's questionable status makes under 218 a mandatory play. Even if he plays, Kerr should be smart enough to play him the bare minimum. Why take a chance on losing your key to the championship trophy cabinet?

After posting my first $$$$ 2 weeks ago (Toronto vs Tampa) and being disappointed by the Blue Jays offense, I will give this another go.
Today's $$$ play for me is NYM RL -105
Noah has impressed us early to start the season with an ERA of 0.69. The Mets are coming of a series win in Cleveland where the bats seemed to have woken up scoring 17 runs in 3 games with a few HRs.
The Phillies have score only 5 runs in the last 3 games and are one of the leagues worst offense early in the season.
Eickhoff is on the mound for the Phillies today, and although he has pitched well against the Mets, I believe factoring the recent offensive surge from the Mets and Noah being on the mound today the Mets win comfortably tn.

Congratulations pimp nation on a nice little roll .keep it up .
3-3-1. $$$$
Today I like SAN Francisco Giants back home with Peavy on the mound. Going against a Arizona team that is young and not as talented. It's so early in the baseball season though anything can happen . I just think after a tough split with the Dodgers this past weekend San Francisco gets the nod here.
SAN FRANCISCO -- 134 $$$$$
Sorry Budda having trouble getting it in bold sorry.

Apologies to anyone who tailed my soccer play today. That was the worst 3-minute span of defense I have ever seen by a professional soccer team from Stoke.
Good luck to everyone with the rest of your plays this evening.

Congratulations to the 3 players who earned a golden $$$$ last week by going 4-0. This can be used at any time now. Meaning you can have two $$$$s in the same day or a fifth in a week.

Hear hear! Nice job guys/gals! Big ups to PimpNation for being on a tear and starting out 9-1. Impressive, and he has been giving out useful analysis for a lot of matchups beyond the $$ plays. I hope you keep contributing.
Plus weekly thanks goes out to Bubba for continuing to really put in the work to keep the daily thread so organized and fun to participate in.

$$$$ Toronto Raptors -7 The zig zag theory has been a profitbae 60% over the past few years and i expect that to continue.
I could have sworn I read a Covers article last week analyzing the zip zag theory and concluded that it was barely 50% ATS the past few seasons.
In any case, zig zag or not, I think Toronto bounces back today as well. Not sure they cover the chalk though, but I expect them to win. I could see them reversing the score from game 1 and winning 100-90. Looking for a nice parlay to place today involving the Toronto ML.

Bubba- I may use Colorado Over as my big play today, why does this seem so easy to me today. I was hoping we get Simon (who I think is one of the worst pitchers in the majors) FYI Simon beat me opening weekend and I was in shock...thought I had missed something then he reverts back to his normal self.
Both these teams are hitting and weather pending this looks to be the play regardless of the outcome. Not sure I can pull the trigger on a guy with 10+ era I sometimes think Cincy is the 2nd best hitters park in the majors...outside Coors of course.
@PimpNation - Great run you are on thank you for your contributions, very insightful. This was close to being a play for me today and I will likely tail you here if you move forward with it. The only thing that put me off is the sharp money on the under here and the fact the number came down from 9 to 8.5.....but you are spot on with Great American Ballpark being one of the premier hitters parks that people seem to forget when discussing hitters parks and both of these starters and bullpens are awful. Unless there is something we are all missing here I dont see how this doesn't go over but the line move/sharp money/betting public all enough to at least make me a bit weary

I apologize, I likely put a hex on your play with me tailing. I have the *worst* luck in soccer and honestly do not follow the sport. So I'm sorry to have cursed you and what was likely a well reasoned bet.

This game, DAL slows it way down and loses 101-68. Give me OKC -13 and under 202 and DAL TT under 94.
MaxWagner - I'm inclined to agree with you on this. Dallas offense is struggling, and without both Deron and Barrea, well it does not bode well. I think Dallas is just hosed along with Memphis.
Also like the under in Hou/GS game.

I normally like posting plays that no one already has but OKC looks like the Spurs game from last night.First, Williams (even if he plays) is in pain with his injury that he said was worse than when it happened) Sport Hernia And Barrea is OUT. That leaves the Mavs with Devin Harris and Ray Felton vs the backcourt of OKC. Yes Mattews has to have a GREAT game just for these guys to stay in the game. OK let's go the frontline Dirk/Anderson/Majera? vs Durant Ibaka and Adams/Kanter If Dirk has an of night (which is VERY possible) and Matthews doesn't score 20+, OKC will win by 30 again.
This is a simple case of Vegas NOT believing the discrepancy from the #1 seeds to the #8 seeds in the WEST. I too normally wouldn't ever lay 10+ points, but these teams are dreadful. The final four in the West should be great theater but these first 4 will probably all be sweeps un less Portland grabs one and Curry doesn't play.
Who on here can see Dallas keeping this close? Does Westbrook and Durent score 30 between them? OKC will destroy Dallas in the open court and they would have to play so far above their heads WHILE on the road. I give them a punchers chance at home, but on the road...NOPE.
$$$$ OKC Lay it tonight!!!

$$$$ OKC -13/13.5 (I see 13 everywhere in Vegas)

Bubba, love the over in this spot, waiting a little closer to first pitch just to make sure nothing crazy transpires, but looks like the play of the day IMO. Not sure why the number fell from 9 to 8.5, but definately going with you on this one. Good Luck to all

The only thing I can find is that Rockies 2nd baseman DJ LeMahieu is out with a groin, so Christhian Adames gets to play again. This does not seem like a huge deal breaker though for Rockies offense. I am tailing on this over 8.5
I also like Phillies team total under 3 runs today. Syndergard is just a beast so far this year. Only way I see Philly getting > 3 runs is if they can get to the Mets bullpen.
Looking at that Angels/White Sox game, that young pitcher Rodon has pretty good stuff! I remember watching him last season as a rookie, and he just schooled Angels the few times he faced them. I forget if it was the slider or curve (or both?), but he had a pitch that looked unhittable with the movement, especially against lefties I believe. This game is a good candidate for betting the under 8.5 runs. I may make this a $$ play, need to look into weather conditions and batting lineups as well as review last year for Rodon and make sure I am not making this stuff up on him.

CWS (torn between -130 and Run Line) I don't like laying anything more than -125 but you guys know how much I think the Angels are overrated (from hitting and pitching) Of course, they are always dangerous with the best player in baseball, but I think Rodon has potential to an All Star. Watch out for his Walk ration as he tends to be a little wild at times (control) but his stuff is electric. You guys can always tell that I like great pitchers in good spots. Rodon (even thought he is getting hammered at the window) is in a great spot. Angels will struggle to score. 4-1 or 4-2 final. Why is A Simmons batting 6th LOL Gold glover but will bat less the 250 on the year...currently at 243.
Reds Over 8.5 This may be one of the Vegas lines that bites us, but I am stunned at this number. Rockies lineup looks to be in full mode tonight (LeMahieu, Parra and Reynolds are off the bench they struck out a combined 8x yesterday) and although I am down on the Reds as a whole, I watched a couple games and they have some grinders on this team. Love Mozart at the top of this lineup batting a cool 483.

Philly I really like this club for some reason sans the bullpen that I have cursed 3x already this year. No lead safe. But Nola Velazquez and Eickert will keep Philly in most games...I simply don't trust the Mets and they should never be favored 2-1 on the road right now with that anemic offense. But I love Snyde too so I will pass but 180 looks tempting to me. FYI for all you Mets fans Eickhoff has 1.5 ERA too.
Miami Run Line: I get Fernandez -1.5 at +130 vs T Roark Call me stupid...the guy is like 24-3 (someone give the accurate info) at home. Nats not as good as their record and Fish not as bad. Miami bats come alive tonight in a rout...but I pass because they just got swept by the Braves. I may play Miami RL in a parlay.
Finally the weird line of the day:
G State is -14 at Westgate and houston +900 on the $ line
OKC is -13 and Dallas is +1200 on the $ line...looks like someone who Vegas respects placed a pretty good $ line on the Rockets...just saying, +900 without Curry is pretty nice!!! Keep an eye out for that one.

@nfl...I wanted to share my thoughts on your play. That Sox team just doesn't hit the ball well and rank in the bottom ten in nearly every offensive category including 23rd in total runs scored of only 39! The Angels are indeed worse offensively but their firepower 1-4 is nothing to bat an eye at. Also the Twins aren't even close to being the league's worst team. Twins did have a rough start but I am sure will rebound and be very close to .500 on the year. The Angels just got swept by a motivated Twins club and now they head to Chicago hungry for a win. I think there is more value here in the Angels but I will have my money elsewhere. Tread lightly my friend.
thank you for more information my friend. Capping game is like a dance. I give out a play and you dance with me so now, I am going to dance back at you.
cws is 1-1 at home. Their record was stellar playing away. cws lost to tb and was only able to get 2 runs max in that series on each games. They have lost 2 games in a row thanks to the rays.
laa lost the series in a 0-3 sweep against the twins. Twins got their fans which is a big motivator for them. Even in a lost, laa was able to put up some runs. They have lost 3 games in a row thanks to the twins.
New series and 2 hungry teams trying to get out of the losing funk. I still like home team advantage and the line moved in favor of cws. No sketchy line there but it is still pro ball still and anything can happen.
In 2015, these two squads were about neck to neck with winning the series however, the home team have won 6 out of 7 of the home meetings.
Laa is 4-11 in their last 15 vs. lefty starters
I did not give out a line because I know it is under -150 to fit the criteria.

@Dr2Half ... That makes 4 straight overs on the last 4 between Tottenham and Stoke. Monday's are tough. Bounce back tomorrow.
@Thread... Looks like we are all on the same page with the Reds/Rockies over. The way Monday's have gone I won't be surprised to see the Reds win 1-0 but I still think its the smart play.
