It sure would be nice if the Reds to score say 3 runs here in bottom of 8th. That would help me out a bit with my White Sox bets imploding. Not to mention OKC being a bunch of bums.

Rodin...you can't trust because of his walks. I missed this one too, but a pitcher cannot be trusted if he walks people.
I normally would agree with you. But in Rodon's short career he will get wild and walk a few guys yet his stuff is so good he will get out of jams with strikeouts. I did not watch that 1st inning, but his stuff must have failed him today because not only did he walk a few guys but gave up 4 straight hits to the bottom of the Angels lineup. I guess it just wasn't his day. Probably his worst start of his career in only lasting 1/3 of an inning.
I now am rooting for the game to somehow still hit the under 8.5. Santiago is dealing at least and White Sox long reliever doing a decent job. I'm sure that bet will get moosed in the 8th or 9th inning knowing the Monday curse.

The only reason I diversified my over bets on the Rockies game was just how crazy Mondays are. Luckily only lost a little juice on the game since the Rockies hit over 4 and +121 (Reds TT Ov4 was -130 ouch) but let me give my thoughts on the Reds. First a shout out to the MLB.tv Premium app that lets met watch every game live on my phone, computer, tablet, etc.. Watching games live really does sharpen handicapping skills. Ok, I ranked teams heading into opening day and I had the Reds as the third worst team in the league. They surprised a lot of people with their home start and I hear a lot of people saying they are "grinders" and that they find a way to score and win games. Well personally I think the jury is still out on this and they are a team to definitely fade against good pitching. Their bullpen leaves a lot to be desired and Hoover is no Chapman but I hardly see their bats putting them in save situations. Lyle had okay stuff tonight but the Reds just look flat out bad. I think this team could really struggle from the midpoint on and will look forward to fading them in the right spot.

Frig me, should have listened to Bubba's caution about the Monday curse. Today is crazy town in betting land. Somehow Mavs are even with OKC and actually outshooting OKC from 2pt and 3pt land. Wowsers.
Just checked, I see Deron Williams is playing. That is a sneaky game time decision start when everything I read said chance of him being able to play were very low. If he causes me to lose my Mavs team total under and OKC bet I will be pissed.
Roto had Williams listed as being out. I thought Roto was reliable. At 4pm PST Roto announced that Williams was playing, but I didn't check it out, which I should have done when total went up to 204. Now, I'm glad OKC is losing. OKC poor shot selection all game. Dallas more desire. Just need to avoid OT, please!

I could have sworn I read a Covers article last week analyzing the zip zag theory and concluded that it was barely 50% ATS the past few seasons.
In any case, zig zag or not, I think Toronto bounces back today as well. Not sure they cover the chalk though, but I expect them to win. I could see them reversing the score from game 1 and winning 100-90. Looking for a nice parlay to place today involving the Toronto ML.
