NBA Just play the Spurs and go to sleep!!!! Memphis will be tough, but the Spurs might win this by 40 tonight. Simply not enough horses!!!

Instead of betting Spurs I decided to bet the prop bet for largest lead of the game > 22.5 points. I figure Spurs *should* be able to manage growing a lead that size or better during the course of the game. These super large spreads always make me worry though about a late back door cover situation when scrubs are playing what could be a meaningless 4th quarter. Good luck sir.

1. I'm +$500-700 this week on my $$$$ plays, which is around +5-7 units in proportion to my betting amount.
2. I joined 2009, which is 6 years ago and started looking at baseball 2 years ago.
3. It is fun since I'm making money (although not that much I admit) while having the thrill of an in-game adrenaline rush.
4. I dont understand the unwarranted aggression from you. Maybe you tailed me on a losing play? What a negative guy.
I would not even bother to respond to obvious trolls like pendo. He is just looking for a fight. Your results (thus far) say all that needs to be said about your competency in capping. Tough loss with White Sox. Quintana pitched good but Moore pitched great. Gotta say, Moore looks pretty solid this season coming off of surgery. I will have to keep that in mind for future bets. Tampa offense will need all the good pitching they can get this year as long as their offense continues to get 3 runs or less.

The reason I don't choose heat fg here is because heat like vs. Boston game the other night, tend to blow big leads and I don't want a last second three like last nights hawk vs Celtics game to blow the spread.
Nice pick, won it with ease. That Heat/Celtics game pissed me off. Had Heat +5 and ML as well as in a 4pt teaser. That disastrous choke job in 2nd half cost me all three bets!! Turned what would have been a great night into just a break even night.

I laid off Anaheim game 1 bc of these uncertain game 1s with Bruce Boudreau coached teams. Now I think their may be value to unload on Anaheim. Since Jan 1 they have won 19 games on the puck line and only lost back to back one time. They need this game and have the firepower to open up. Having a good week so being a bit aggressive here:

Something to consider for those of you that like to do live betting. There have been 6 playoff games so far. The 3 games that were competitive going into the 4th quarter all went over the total if you made a live bet after the 3rd quarter.
The games that were blowouts after 3 quarters all were easy unders if you made a live bet before the 4th quarter.
Something worth considering, especially if this Spurs-Griz game is out of hand after 3 quarters.

I'm going back to the well with this play. The last time Clippers hosted Portland, I made a $$ play of the full game total under. But I also bet 1st half under, and both team totals unders.
Slightly different situation tonight, but I still am favoring the unders. The only reason why I am emphasizing the Portland team total under instead of full game under is how Portland played the last 12-15 games of the season. They really did not impress me very much, especially on the road. Their defense really struggled late in the season, even at home. I kept waiting to see them get it fixed last 5 or 6 games, but nope.
Plus, it has been been a bit since Portland offense has clicked playing at Staples vs Clippers. Lillard has not shot the ball there well, and the Clippers defense has a lot to do with that. Clippers (for me) looked to be the best defensive team in the NBA in the month of April. Their starting 5 just looked ridiculously good. The one fly in the ointment is Reddick and his hurt heel. If that affects his agility, then that will open up things for McCollum. The problem with Portland is when they face a very strong front court team like the Clippers, Portland offense becomes one dimensional. If Clippers control points in the paint and force Portland guards to keep putting up contested outside jumpers, then the results should continue to be bad.
But anyway, I believe Portland scored 86 and 94 points the two games they faced Clippers on the road. That was regular season, not we get playoff basketball where refs can tend to swallow their whistles and let the players play, especially in 4th quarters. Playoff style tempo *should* favor the Clippers here, as they love to be methodical in their half court offensive sets and look to get the best shot off and then play great defense on the other side.
Thus, even though Portland did manage to put up a good scoring average in April to finish off regular season, I still expect Clippers to frustrate them once again. My thinking though is that taking Portland team total under is better bet than full game under as Portland defense may continue their unimpressive trend and allow Clippers to get > 110 (which I admit Clippers do not do too often but one never knows).

Good luck to you. I've been thinking about the Ducks and ways to play this game. So far, I just made one prop play for 1st period Anaheim -0.5 at +160. If you are right about Ducks lighting it up tonight, hopefully they get off to the fast start and score a few goals in the 1st period. If that happens, I am liking this prop bet.

I hope I do as well, goes without saying. I did not start off well focusing on the Houston Rockets. So far today it looks better, looking like I will start off 2-0 with Spurs 2nd half and biggest lead of game > 22.5 points.
If the Clippers bring the same defensive intensity they showed the last 15 games of the regular season, then I think it will be tough sledding ahead for Portland. Reddick looked good at shoot around, so hope he can be his usual pesky self on defense against McCollum.
I also have a large bet on Clippers to win the series. Lots of juice at -400, but Clippers just match up well vs Portland.

Interesting that Portland coach Stott made good on his promise to do the 'hack a Jordan' no matter what. Even with them down 20 points with 3 minutes to go they were doing it. Even with that speeding up team possessions, Portland was never in danger of getting > 100 points. It did almost ruin the full game over though. I had 211 and final tally was 210. Something to think about for the rest of the games in this series. These teams don't like each other much either, so expect a lot more fouls and refs to perhaps to call future games a bit tighter. Just my take on watching this game. Still think Clippers have a *huge* talent advantage in this series.
