I'm just starting to look at baseball. Took Texas TT over 4.5. Think Latos is a total fraud. Think that was a 2pm start though. I'll get my stronger leans out in advance of the next round of games today for us to talk about. $$$$ play is on the ice tonight!!

I won on monday and lost to an upset in washington last night.   1-1 $$$$ for me this week.  I take the lost as a champ because I lost to an upset.  I tend to lose to upset mostly. 


Will there be another upset here?  My golden rule is never play the last game of the day unless you play the dog.  Just like the nfl, the last game of the sunday night game is a vegas trap and dogs win to kill all them square betters who tripled down on a losing Sunday early games. 

Here I am, breaking my rule and looking for an upset, yet again. 

laa vs stl

How was them stl last night eh?  Very impressive balling by stl.  Matter of fact, stl offense is ranked up there in the MLB.  How can you not back up a high powerful offensive team? 

LAA on the other hand is an offensive lacking team as of late.  They have lost 4 in a row and have only gotten as high as 2 runs in 2 of them games. 

Lets compare the 2nd game of the series and see who is lacking.

Stl is -2 on the 2nd game of the series.  Unacceptable BUT
laa is -4 on the 2nd game of the series

stl won that one. 

stl is starting garcia.  The guy had a good game last time around against them phillies.  He went 7 inning and giving up just 2 hits and 0 runs. To go along with his record, he is a 0.99 whip and only allowed just 1 home run this season.   Now that's impressive. 

Laa offense is now at the bottom of the barrel.  They got Pujols but dude is hitting below the .200 mark.  LAA is starting shoemaker and on his last outing, he pitches only 2 innings and giving up 7 runs.  Pitching like that gave him a 9.15 era 

Laa is 0-6 at home and against left hand pitchers. 

Sign me up for STL -134 for my $$$$ 

Rough last 2 money picks for me. Liking 2 plays tonight and making 1 a money play.
(Play 1) -- BoSox -195  Hot team going for the sweep. East coast playing west coast. Porcello has been pitching great and has a Hot offense behind him. Boston gets the sweep.
(Play2) -- Cards -140 and a $$$$money play for me.Shoemaker is 0-3, 12.71 in his last three starts, I don't think the cards will have a problem scoring tonight. Add that to the hitting slump the angels are in. Scoring only 6 runs last 4 games.And Angels lost eight of last ten games.I'll take the cards all day.

Moneyline Parlay with Red Sox and Raptors. One of my rare parlays with 2 different sports. Got a whipping last night going 0 for 2. I like Porcello at home and just praying the Raptors win on their home court!!

I am now a student of his style.  Take the best 2 teams and sprinkles a few units on it.  I've been getting killed playing half a unit on 5 or more teamer just to lose 1 game.

I like to take the points out of the equation and go ML if at all possible. Seems like the only way to bet baseball to me. I just had a 6 bet winning streak then got whacked yesterday after patting myself on the back..LOL

Am I the only person who likes Zimmerman plus big juice over Sherzer?  Am I the only one parlaying DET and the over?

$$$$Miami/Toronto 1st Half Total UNDER 94.5$$$$

With the injuries mounting we have a shorter cast of players from which we can find scoring from. The hill doesn't get any shorter and age is beginning to show on that remaining Heat crew.Wade is by himself much of the time and on the other side we have a sore thumb and/or jitters with Derozen and Lowry. Nervous Raptors trying to please a bandwagon of skeptical fans. Looking back a the tapes the 1st half under is 4-0 and in that span the highest 1st half score was just 89 points. These games are ripe for overtime too, where the full game total was popped once. We still like the Full Game total to go under 188.5 - the number went briefly to 189 and then right back to 188.5. Here is an idea...Maybe bet the OVERTIME YES option ( usually +$750 Live Bet) for a little EXTRA icing.

I am also on that Ice hockey total Dallas/St. Louis Over 5 goals @-150... Big Juice is scary, but like Matt2688 suggests we likely get the push at least.

Oh and from what I've heard the referee crew for tonight's Blazers/Warriors match up trend to the UNDER on totals.

So be careful, if your dreaming of a lot of points showing up on the left coast Portland/Golden State Total of 217.5/218.

Might sprinkle a little on the under if it climbs any higher.

Interesting plays today.

Like Boston Red Sox, but they face their 2nd straight lefty here in Surkamp. 

@TheSleeper - Like the Marlins, can't see them losing this game.  It is my biggest bet of the day, so probably the kiss of death the way I have been tanking the past two weeks.

@nfl_brosuf - Like the 'fade Angels and Shoemaker' pick.  Garcia has some alarming home/away pitching splits though just FYI.  I watched last night's game for 5 innings and just was shaking my head at how bad Angels looked against a very below average pitcher in Leake.  And then Santiago just got shelled, and I like him as a pitcher.  He did not look good at all though.

@MaxWagner - I also was leaning Detroit until I read they are sitting Castalleros and putting Cabrera at 3rd base.  He has never played that position before *ever* in the bigs, and I am very unsure about how that will work out.

@23skidoo - I am also on 1st half under 95.  This series has just been some ridiculously bad offensive basketball the whole way through.  Now watch today be a scorer's paradise LOL.  But really, injuries and old age are just killing these teams.  Miami looks soooo slow out there, and old man Wade is the only guy with any confidence on the team to put up a shot.  Everybody else is not looking good.  On Toronto, Derozen has that hurt thumb which is killing his shooting, and Lowry always seems to fade away in big games.  The rest of that team is rather random, although Carroll seems to be gaining confidence. 

I read where Wade was shooting baskets in game 4 while the Canada national anthem was being played.  Was that true?  If so, perhaps Toronto crowd will be a little more 'into' this game and rain some hellfire down on Wade and Miami.  I am leaning Toronto today.  They should have won game 4 if they did not choke away the late 8 point lead just like the Spurs did yesterday.  Miami really does not look so good.

@Lakerz Cabrera has played 3rd base a lot in his career, 2013 playing 145 games at 3rd.  Not saying he is the best and wont have two errors tonight, but he does know how to play the position in the bigs. I'm on Detroit tonight tonight, Sherzer has not been very good this year and his old club gets to him tonight.  The Tigs broke the losing streak last night and know that they really need to win a series tonight after dropping 7 in a row.
