At first blush, I thought the over in this game looked *very* interesting. However, on deeper look, the pitchers may get the best of this one. Leake has been iffy (at best) this season, but there is not one Dodger batter in the lineup today that has done well versus him in the past.

Alex Wood is a funky pitcher for the Dodgers that has put up some ugly numbers since the trade sent him from Atlanta to LA. However, in his three starts this season he has pitched quite well. Away starts not so good. Plus somebody else mentioned that St Louis batters have not seen him before. He has such a funky delivery, that I think he will likely breeze through the lineup the first go around and have success the 2nd go around as well. I think Cards could see just 1 run (maybe 2) through 6 innings, with perhaps Dodgers nemesis Holliday hitting a home run off Wood. Dodger bullpen been decent so likely to preserve any lead.

Only worrying thing is wind blowing out to right field. Leake seems to be serving up some moon shots this year, and Wood sometimes as well. Both teams are loaded with power bats. So under bet could get moosed by a couple big swings.

Bats will wake up. Ended up taking Dodgers to over 7.5. Got 7.5 before it went up. Also took No runs 1st inning for a 1 unit. Leake will blow up shortly! ??
