Anyone have a read on this one
Yeah
I think Tigers today or tomorrow.
Not sure which.
Seems right they beat Scooby then lose to Houlton/bullpen.

Holton vs KC this year: 3.2 IP, 4 hits, 7 ER.
Lorenzen vs Det this year: 5 IP, 3 hits, O ER
Lorenzen gave up 2 ER in 17 IP vs Cleve/Min/KC in June this year. Where are the Detroit runs coming from and who is going to stop the Royals’ run production in this game?

Last year Lorenzen was traded from Detroit to Philly. His first game with Philly was also on the road and as a -120 favorite. He went 8 innings and allowed 6 hits and 2 runs for the win. His next game he pitched a no hitter at home. I like him today against a team that is only hitting .142 last 5 against righties.

6 out of 8 hitters have career averages vs Holt...over 0.250....
Line movement now has me liking KC more 1st 5.
Bol guys

Detroit has lost the last 5 in a row, all at home. And none have been even close, all by at least 4 runs.
I've watched them and it doesn't really matter who pitches, their best pitchers Skubal and Olson don't get run support. Holton's last game he got zero runs scored for him Guardians scored 5.
I try to look for teams that are value instead of just playing favorites all the time and I can tell you two teams that are never gonna win close ones are the Tigers and Cubs. They both blow leads and Cubs lead the MLB in one run losses (another one today, blew the game in the 9th, had the lead early) Tigers lineup just isnt potent enough and neither is Chicago's. Every once in a while they bust out but usually they either get killed or lose the close ones that's why theyre so mediocre
