okay genius "roid-roger"! so you're down 3-6 and you have a guy in scoring position and you give up an automatic out letting the pitcher hit! who's to say you'll have scoring opportunities later in the game? I guarantee the better managers in the game like Torre and Larussa would have brought up a pinch hitter to try to get back into this game. well not surprising at all, it's the nationals and they always make bonehead moves! better for me!. now it's 8-3 dumb ass! you still want the pitcher hitting?  you get a clue!
