you both have a point. here's a solution:

lana: don't make a post in a thread promoting the opposite side of your bet, even if you do it to try and help people. people take things the wrong way and then come to your thread to bash you.

lana haters: the guy has a good record, there's no reason to talk shit whenever he gets a few wrong since you can't really argue with success. the problem is that you will never get the same results as him unless you tail every one of his picks every single day over a period of time. when people that bet one or two of his games just so happen to be unlucky enough to have bet on the losing picks doesn't make it his fault. so don't bash him when you lose being an idiot and blindly tailing one of his picks without research because he really doesn't give a fuck since he was prolly up that day.

Matt Garza laying about 2:1 to ANY team is not a Rays or no play.

You have to understand value, and Garza at 2:1 is not value.

I was on KC, but this is not a rub in your face type of thing.

I just dont understand calling Matt Garza against Gil Meche at 2:1 Garza or nothing.

Chris Cune, very good question and here is your answer. 

He's betting 4 units now because he knows at his current 53% winning he'll never get to his "100 units" by the end of the year.  Lana's picks and gambling style do not work over the long haul.  Plain and simple.

I'm new to covers but have been gambling for 12 years and making a good living at it for the past 7 so I've earned the right to come in this thread and speak my mind. 

He's winning 53% of his games but is up 59 units?  He's going to have to bet over a 1000 games this season at his current pace.  That in itself is just ridiculous.

MaineRoad -- Thanks for the heads up. Well, all I can say is to do what's best for you. You're not the only one who has selectively chosen my plays and done very well. If you can do that, more power to you. I try not to let any psychology get into my picks though (getaway day, losing/winning streak, post blowout game). I would be willing to bet that all of this stuff will even out over time. I also only cap on proven results and it would be sort of hard to go through my previous games and factor for these things to see how I would do. I will keep doing my thing but good luck if you try to tweak it.
