BTW,,,,fellow posters,,,here is a little theroy for you to mull over
 
GH was white hot around 70 units and hit a high of around 80 units
 
several new posters came out bashing him for whatever reason
 
the theory is that CE were pisssed that GH was taking away their action,,,people getting free winners from GH versus paying the touts
 
so when they apparently couldn't shake GH they decided to bring him into the fold,,,eg the covers radio spot and rubbing elbows with the great CE's
 
well there must have been some wacked out shit going on becuase you couple that with the trip to LV and that is when the fucking wheels came off of the bus
 
coincidence? FWIW

yea, he was up almost double what he is now this season...  he bets games on value and not on the outlook of the game and who is actually going to come out and play a strong game... he sees a team at +130 and he just automatically jumps on it.

Great handicappers dont bet a lot of games in a night.... GHs average play is probably like 8 or 9 games a night which is such a joke... why doesnt he focus on 1 game and put all of his units that he would put on 8 games and put it on 1 game... he would be up a lot more money.... betting baseball is almost like betting horseracing, if you go to the track and bet every race on the card, YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE.  you must stick to 3 or 4 races that day... im not telling GH what to do but look what happened a couple of days ago when he bet 1 game... HE ACTUALLY WON.  If your betting 7 8 or 9 games a day, you basically have to go 6-3 to make the profit you want to make for that night, its way to hard....
 
 
im not a GH die hard, if fact he doesnt bother me at all but i cant stand the people that suck his dick.  Dont kid yourself, GH is a great fade if you are only looking for 1 winner in a day

ok GASCAN... first off answer me this... am i right or wrong by saying great cappers play less games?  do you see the best cappers in the worlld playing 8 games a night? no... in fact they probably play 3 games with 1 POD.... i dont see Estes playing 9 games in a night... he plays 3 or 4 at the most...

i said it wrong... i have leans in the back of my mind all day but i dont call them in until a couple minutes before gametime.... my bookie is only open  for 630-730... i call him at like 7

While I respect game hunter a great deal and he made me a lot of money in the first half, I have to say that I have been following threads on Covers for several years and this is honestly one of the worst stretches I have seen from the All-Star break on.

I long since stopped tailing and have faded in certain situations but I have pretty much hung it up to get ready for football. I just hope for his sake that he does not give it all back after a wonderful start to the season.

Hate to say it but there is some truth to some of these opinions. One that i agree with is picking too many games. The more plays you have the more chances their are for bad luck outcomes(i.e.) bullpens loosing games,errors,late lineup changes,etc etc etc that effect you won loss ratio as well as units.That's just a fact. I respect gamehunter & have read his posts everyday for the last 3-years & am not bashing him but i'd like to make a point that even he hasn't admitted & i stated it a couple of weeks ago. If you go back & look at the unbelievable April he had which even he admitted was way out of the norm he is in the negatives for units this year in baseball. He has never even been close to that in 3-years since i've read his posts. I believe his lowest output was 40-units 1 year ago but that was without an unbelievable April. Something was clearly differant this year & only gamehunter knows but until he admits to what the numbers say(minus this unbelievable April) we all can only assume...

Listen you morons.  Who cares how many games he picks.  Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.  Shit happens.  If you aren't paying him for his picks, you need to keep your mouths shut.  If you are upset because you tailed and lost, then too f'n bad for you..Boo Hoo.  If you can't make an intelligent decision on your own on what games to play, then you probably shouldn't be betting in the first place, now should you?

Sure, other cappers might play less games, does that make playing more games bad ?  You weren't in here when he was up 80 units bashing his strategy.  The thing about GH is he's been here the past 3 seasons posting and winning.  And when talking about games, he knows his stuff and gives the best insight out of all the other cappers.  He might be going through a rough stretch now, but it's not his fault you started following while hes on a losing streak.  When its all said and done, hes up over 40 units for the season, and I'll take that anyday. 

And its funny, if i won so much money betting baseball, I wouldn't go onto a site "which I think is a joke" and talk garbage on a capper who had a rough night.  You obviously tailed, lost, and are tight about it.  But regardless, BOL GH, youll get em back.

Having said that he would likely still be up over 50 if he had never taken a total this season - strength seems to be with the sides for sure.

Happy, I agree with you that totals were a downfall for him this year all i'm wondering was how did he cap any differantly this year from the past 3-years. Again,think about what i stated earlier, since April he's well below .500 in fact hitting only about 47% of his plays & is negitave units. If any other poster posts picks at that rate,they wouldn't get the time or day just look at the daily posts in the baseball forum. I agree that he is sharp enough,i just don't know how people can say that he's the man this year,or it will turn around soon--it hasn't all summer & it's getting real late in the season especially with teams starting to pack it in to make any real headway. Maybe he just didn't have the time this year as much as in years past??  Only he'll know...

What I find interesting is how any capper with a very clear approach does in cycles throughout the season.  I know GH will have a harder time when the race heats up and the also rans often play poorly, especially with kids in the lineup for experience purposes only.  I imagine that has a lot to do with his struggles since his approach dictates that he won't play heavy faves
