Comment: Means gives the O’s a whole different dimension. If they had 5 guys like Means they would be a contender. 4-1 for quality starts and even his non-quality start he scored above MLB average in my program. He is also 4-1 W/L in 5 inning games. Mike Fiers had a couple outstanding years when he first transitioned to the A.L. West from the N.L. Central, but his overall career does not point to a guy that is going to have great years at age 35 and beyond. Based on my data and ignoring the always overrated “home field advantage” I would make Means -170, true odds, in this 5-inning matchup. I rest my case.

 Yeah. it's a struggle fighting off dementia. A young fellow like you can't appreciate that.

Out for a couple hours guys. The dizzy blonde decided to treat another couple and a widow friend to dinner at Cheesecake Factory. I will tolerate her extravagance only as long as it does not interfere with my gambling. We have to keep our priorities correct you know.
