What we have here are two guys we want to fade before they are removed
from the starting rotations. Davies has shown absolutely nothing at 0-3 both
h2h and for quality starts. Santiago is due for a bounce back after his last
start versus Texas and the Brewers are not the lefty hitting machine the
Rangers are.
Medlen has been just OK for the Royals and they have gone 1-3 in his
starts, with the only win coming at Houston 4/12/16, and I don’t have to tell
you how badly the Astros are struggling, just 9-18 now and siting at the bottom
of the A.L. West. The Nationals should be a little bent on revenge today after
blowing last night’s game in the 9th, which cost them an opportunity
to sweep the State of Missouri on this trip.
