With u on all 3. According to your ratings which I hold in high regard, who are your top 3 highest rated pitchers tonight?
There are 5 in the 70's, which is significant so I will list them all in order.
1. Syndergaard, 78.2
2. Sanchez, 77.5
3. Verlander, 75.1
4. Martinez, 74.8 (versus Syndergaard)
5. Pomeranz, 72.8 (versus Verlander)
Only Sanchez does not face another guy in the 70's, Rea at 59.0, but the line reflects the difference. I am not playing any of the matchups involved and the reasons should be obvious. In my opinion the great matchups are eligible for unders only, if a guy likes that.

Shipley=a young pitcher with something to prove, on a team with nothing to lose.
I'm on the rockies 1st 5 to avoid any bullpen shenanigans. Let's hope Jorge's Left arm is enough to limit the O's.

I have to admit I wasn't patient enough to wait on F5 lines, which opened very early today, but that is probably the way to go.
Of 22 starters today Chase Anderson is the worst and could qualify for that on a day with a full card. No way a guy like that should ever be a favorite.

Aren't you worried that Chase comes back to haunt his former team ???? He seems to be the only one with incentive to care about this game, barring the kids debut obviously.I never counted on more than 4 innings pitched from any debut pitcher. You know that Chase is a loser who loves to give up HR'S,but this Diamondback team is a pair of clown shoes.

BOL. The ridiculous line is St. Louis +165...at least 30-40 cents of value with the Cards, a good young team with a lot to play for.
It's gonna be bombs away in Baltimore. O's have a huge advantage with their pen, plus I don't like betting against Buck despite the line value with the Rocks against Gallardo. How can he possibly be 3-2 with that balloon of an ERA? Offense. The O's will come in knowing they are gonna have to score big to win this game. For this reason, I don't like the Rocks in the first game of this series.
And I've bet DeSclafani every game since he came back, but this is a bad spot for him against the left-handed line up of SF. He is gonna have to go at least seven tonight. I'm afraid SF is gonna wear him down to get to their pen.
Not trying to be critical...always appreciate your input. Just offering my thinking for not betting these two games with you.

FWIW: Only once in their last nine tries (and 4 of 15) have the Giants had a quality offensive performance versus a right handed starter. Out of the break they have an offensive earned run average of 1.88 per 9. Which side of the plate they swing from would seem to be irrelevant. They are just plain stone cold. The Reds have posted 3 straight and 8 of their last 15 versus righty. Out of the break their oera is 4.40.

Truth be told that is the fishiest line of the day. Smells like rotten eggs and old tuna combined, but it is holding and rising and the obvious question is, why?
