MLB Play of the Day for April 24 Post yours here!

RULES:
1. Post your single best play. If you post more than one I will not count it. No Parlays!
2. Only sides & totals. No prop plays or 1st, 5th or 6 innings plays.
3. I will post the top cappers daily, which will be determined by units won.
4. Do not post after game time.
5. Please post your own lines and be honest. All over/under plays will be counted as 110.
6. Please post your record plus your
total profits. For example John Doe 4-0 +400. If you do not follow this rule your play will not be recorded!
7. All games will be recorded as 100 units.
8. Try to be an active poster. If you are a dead beat than I may remove you from the list.
9. If there is an error with your record just simply post your findings and I will double check it.

Todays selection was not an easy one to make. I am not the type of person just easily throw a post up in this thread like some. It's always easy to come in here and throw up the Phillies or Yankees on the ML, but there is never a lot of explanation for those plays. Sure if you bet the Phillies every game all season, you will profit after 162 games, but that's not the purpose for this thread imo.

With all that said, today selection I feel is a great play. Arguably the worst team in baseball over the last 2 decades or more, the Pirates have really beefed their team up this season. It showed the first couple weeks, and they are in a little slump right now, but I really think people sleep on this team. Tomorrow Kevin Correia gets the start. He is coming of a big win against the Reds on the road, and today is a great opportunity to get his first win at home. Correia is carrying a 2.48 ERA with a .91 WHIP. After a big 7-1 victory on Saturday, the Pirates have sweep potential in this series against a team I love betting against.
