My point wasn't that I loved Toronto, Betty, just that your comment that Tamp should be favored was out of line in my opinion. I wasn't using a few games or trends, just a half season of stats. Fact was that Toronto has averaged almost 2 runs a game more than Tampa=that's against everybody played for both teams. Not sure what more context you want than the entire season for both teams. And Hutchinson has been outstanding for the year at home-again just a fact I mentioned as to why Tampa being the favorite didn't make any sense to me. You thought they should be, but you didn't need to make critical generalizations about why I thought they shouldn't be- I was just trying to point out pretty strong facts .

And I didn't think I was jumping on you-just pointing out a different view. I have always thought home/road splits are important to look at for a pitcher. Tampa offense average at best against a tough pitcher at home I thought was worth mentioning as a reason Tampa shouldn't be favored. I certainly wasn't attacking you in any way.

Neither Key or anyone else for that matter has any affect (good or bad) on what transpires during a game. I find this all extremely laughable. Not saying Charlie can't be annoying at times, because he can (honestly he drives me nuts) but him posting in Key's thread doesn't mean a damn thing.

My screen name and avatar emanate from a classic Star Trek episode. It was Season 1 Episode 2 which originally aired on September 15, 1966.

"CHARLIE X"

The actor who played Charlie in the episode is Robert Walker. That's his face in my avatar.

You can google the episode for the synopsis. It was one of the better ones of the first season.

I don't understand all the hate for Charlie_X.  Personally he's one of my favorite members on the forums because of his posts!  He doesn't wait until the winners are revealed to give his thoughts and he posts pretty often.  I also like when he combats the Handicappers that are attempting to get us to pay for the services, so personally I think keep it up!

But yeah, maybe the avatar could use some work, lol!
