You guys need to review Stevos thread as he has a great way of reviewing ST games and i have been a follower over the last 2 years upon when his 2012 thread originated and he has made me a wiser and follower of ST MLB  CONSISTENCY

Due to the advent of internet and easy information, exh baseball is the last of the major sports where someone can gain a competitive advantage by doing extensive research on lineups or keeping up w the teams on a micro basis.   Most people do not have the time or the access to do this every day during the week.  To illustrate, in my view, it seems questionable to rely on reverse line movement in nfl when there r only 16 games a week.  There is less of a chance of getting unknown info or knowledge.  On other hand it seems this would work better in exh baseball.  There was a guy on covers who did this well years ago, but he went tout and ....

DU4L, if your point is that it's so unpredictable as to be a virtual coin flip, why wouldn't you be taking every plus money game?Honestly, this may be a valid point, consider this strategy would be up 9.49 units after 89 games (based on covers lines on the scores page). 

If on the other hand, it is as predictable as regular season games (which is not to say that they are very predictable), then the juice is generally not all that bad compared to regular season games.

IMO, there are simply different variables to consider versus regular season games. Different, not worse.

Because we have the EXACT same chance of winning a spring game than we do a regular season game. There's no difference whatsoever. Every baseball game, spring, regular season, playoffs, world series, college high school and t-ball. You have a 50/50 chance at winning. Does not matter who's pitching or where game is or who is playing. Example, the Astros have a 50/50 chance of beating the Tigers as do the Yankees do.  Trust me. In baseball, anything can and WILL happen on any given game. Their is only one way to make money in baseball and I do it and make money. Problem is, gamblers can't do this system cause they gamblers and they want to get greedy

I'm 7-1 in ST. I look at starting lineups and make a play when I see a major league roster against a mixed roster with 4 or more backups or minor leaguers. Why not play those odds?

If you prescribe to that logic, then why wouldn't you just bet the dog every game?  If you don't see any value in "paying" juice on the favorites, that would only make sense right?   

I've been betting spring training for years, and I have honestly never had a losing spring, record or money-wise.  I don't even bet the regular season.  Like someone mentioned before, there's structure to spring games.  Just because you don't know how long these guys are going to play for, or how many innings they will pitch, or who is going to play the last few innings - doesn't mean that information isn't available.  If you want to be blinded by your own ignorance of these "meaningless" spring training games, that's on you, kid.  In my opinion, and from my experience, there's money to be made in these games.  

But if the "juice is a joke" as you say, and believe apparently, just bet the dog every game and count your money.

No offense, but this may be the most unintelligent, ignorant, and just flat out ridiculous post I've read on covers in quite some time.
