87. He's going the distance
Wow! Pretty economical.
DOC-TOBER TIME OMG
COULD YOU JUST IMAGINE IF THEY KEPT LEE,TOO OMG
NO NO TIME
I was thinking that myself... w/Halladay & Lee they would be just about unbeatable in these playoffs.
I still never heard why they didn't keep Lee also. I'm a Philly guy on the West coast now so I don't get all the scoops on everything my Philly teams do these days.
What was the actual reason? Money?

If he can keep us going to the World Series these next 3 or 4 years he will still have that chance of being labeled as being "One of the Greatest of ALL-TIME."

They said it was to get prospects back since they dealt 3 for Doc....which was a total lie....it was money.....he was going to be too expensive to keep and they didn't want to pay 8 mil for a guy they were going to lose......it was stupid, but I actually like Oswalt better....just my opinion......

I think he is still hobbled. They showed on that bases loaded hit in the 3 run inning that he did not go from 1st to 3rd like he would normally do. There was 2 outs and with a hit he should have easily made 3rd base, but turned back after rounding 2nd and slid into 2nd head first. With the troubles also at the plate, maybe they should consider resting him some more.

Thanks Iveycheats... When I read your post I remembered seeing a clip on espn many months ago that said the same thing also but it was buried in my memory until you refreshed it. Thank Again

i wonder what the ritual is for halladay right now..
i mean, do players in the dugout leave him alone, do they talk to him, give him high fives?
does it change as the game goes on and he gets closer to the no no..
anyone know?

He is ALWAYS a loner in the dugout... never talks to anyone but the manager and pitching coach. He always sits alone. He has done this for some time now.
