Love this play. Im on it myself. Just kind of weird to me that Tx is only -145 on the ML. On paper, should be an absolute blowout. Still on it big, but feels trappy to me

 The "sweep" factor and OTR. The public loves home teams avoiding a sweep. Remember the odds are to keep the betting public even as much as possible. GL!

Yeah but I dont think that factor is that influential on the line.

I loved the Angels not to get swept at home to a mediocre team. Sure enough, backed them against the Fish in G3 and lost a rather large play.

I really think something is going on that we dont know about

people love average to above average teams not getting swept at home.

 Nothing is ever a given brutha'. Word of advice, don't worry about it, you will lose some. Just win more than you lose and keep your bets consistent. I honestly don't worry about my bets, I worry more about the teams I like winning than the ones I bet on.

 Neither starter is likely to go more than 5 innings, barely half the game. That's 4 innings of who knows who out of the BP depending on the score/ situation. And again, home team avoiding a sweep is a popular play with the general public.

 I guess I meant worried as more of a tactical term rather than an emotional one.

FWIW, my latest odds are Texas -153. Not small odds on a road game. If it were -130 or less I might do a double take but the odds as they are don't worry me.

Been watching Dane Dunning since he came up. I definitely thought that it was a bad move in letting him go. Now the Sox are stuck with Lance Lynn.

Dunning has great stuff, and not afraid to locate over the plate.
