I would be in agreement if the TT was a -110 or a -115 bet at the 4 it's set at. But it's not it is a o4(-130). Looking for safety in a bet that involves lots of juice is not something I would recommend using in the same sentence. If you must be inclined to take an over in this game the o9(+105) is much more inclined IMO to be labeled a safer selection than the o4(-130) Tigers (tt). That said there is a good chance both can hit tonight of course but there is never anything safe about laying -130 or more.
FYI, I have no problem with either wager as I have laid -130 myself (Usually when I do though i'm getting a +RL of either 1st 5inn +0.5 or FG +1.5). I just don't like the safety comment as there is no comfort ever when laying in excess of -130+...

This is true but it Jimenez still fits the category of Tiger success this season and he still holds a bb/9 of 4.5 at home this season and a home k/9 of just 5.19. Those are nothing compared to his career k/9 of 8.07 and his bb/9 career which is 4.02...
Ubaldo's success has always been hinged on being able to strikeout batters. If he doesn't have that (which he clearly does not right now) then his bb/9 rises while the k/9 get's lower.
It's all probability and figuring out why he may or may not have had a little bit more success at home compared to the road should not change the probability that the Tigers have had success both on the road and at home vs .1.5 whip pitchers...

Well Texas is your MLB leader in rpg at 5.49 and your MLB leader in ba at .290. The Tigers in this situation have pumped out 5.9rpg and a .286ba. How much better are you looking for?

No worries on the ump for me. I truly believe ump's to be over rated and should be treated no more so than a pitchers babip. Lot's of luck hinged on an ump determining an outcome of your wager IMO. Not for me...
